After a little I experimented, I found the best solution for me:

Welcome to the forums, GTC. You won't be able to post on the GG forum until you have 5 posts here in the new members forum, so you may want to talk to us here for a little while. I have a GGTB and your solution of screen protector film to protect the GGTB sounds like a good idea. Mine is nickel plated and it seems to stay pretty clean. I have some Goddard's Brass & Copper Polish that works really well also. Also, Imeo now has a 510 cap that will fit on the GGTB that you can buy. I'm not sure if it available to you or not. Do you buy your GGs from the UK? I will post a link to your thread on the GG forum so those who have GGs can see it.

I love my GGTB !!! I don't have problems with discolouration either! I like my BUZZ better for more voltage, but it does not have a safety switch and the GGTB can travel in my bag and for dripping no leaks!

I also love Germany! I stayed at Haiger Seelbach for one month for Xmas a couple of years ago. Am Australian and got to see snow and all the fireworks for New years eve... almost as good as discovering vaping!

When GGSlim I had no problems with discoloration only, but one time, after 4 weeks it began. But no problem, once and short polished, and then applied the protective screen - perfect ;-)

GTC, as well as a GG fan, I'm also a 901 fan - especially the LR 901's, they IMHO are vaoing perfection on my GGTS

I am fairly certain though that Imeo is making a 510 cap for the GGTB. In the meantime, what about a 901 to 510 adapter?

The 901- 510 adapter in my link in my previous post is only £2.99 - I have never used the fog but I can't think of any reason why that adapter wont work with it.
