Well, I received my GGTB in the mail, and all I can say is wow...... It really is a neat device... If your on the fence about maybe getting one or not, I would highly consider getting one. The finish of the GGTB is nice... It is brushed and looks really cool... I also like that it has some nice weight...not too much but just enough...

Overall, I am very happy bout the way the GGTB turned out...Its compact compared to GGTS, but yet it still is very versatile as far as battery combos ... Another great device from Imeo and GG...

GG like no other......
-Tim

i just got mine as well, opened it up in the car and was vaping on it in like 3 seconds, easy setup, easy to pocket, nice weight.. brushed feel is nice change on my hand and seems like it won't get mucked up as easy as the GGTS

plus everything tim just said, couldn't have said it better.

edit: i just tried two TR123A's in it, they fit perfect and my silver 901 GG i7 atty's look slick on there

Ways, change, change, change buddy!!

Tim, thanks a lot for one more time my very good friend for your nice words:):)

Hehe i should have taken a pic of the AVS tank when it was covered with the same copper plates as the GG connector ring... it looked like a little copper boiler  had to remove them though as my fingers left unsightly marks all over and with the little pseudo rivets it was a pain to keep shiny. Change change change is coming as i am starting to get bored with the current look so stay tuned for my Dark side light saber mod... ;) kidding it will return to stock form soon.

Looks cool but I wouldn't recommend anyone blocking up the vent holes like that.

Neither would i :danger:, in fact i will state for the record it is not a good idea to block up your vent holes not even if you regularly check your cells and only ever use single cell's and or "safer chemistry" AW IMR's in your GG, although i will add that i have been using and abusing lithium cells of various chemistries for over a decade in various bought/modded and self built laser pointers and flashlights and am well aware of the dangers involved, indeed i have experienced one instance of a cell venting (although not catastrophically and i was wearing PPE) and that was while recklessly abusing 12x 14500 lithium ion cells in a 6D maglite modded with a 24v 150w bi-pin bulb.

seriously though this is what can happen when things go wrong... TK Monster Explosion - CandlePowerForums imagine if something like that happened while your GG is in your mouth...

On the other hand when i think about how i used to kill myself by inches with those nasty little cancer sticks that would almost certainly have caused me to have a slow and painful death it rather puts things into perspective.

Back to GGTB, which has been doing a great job while i was at work today and attracted many admiring glances and comments :)

Hi guys, right now I am trialling the GGTB with 6.4v and my 4.5ohm KR808 steel cartos and it works a dream:). For me the flavour and throat hit is just right with this combination.

KR808d Cartomizer Stainless Steel HIGH RESISTANCE [KRCARTOSTEELHR] - £5.49 : E-Cigz London, Discount Electronic Cigarette & cheap E-liquid suppliers, Atomizers, Cartomizers, Batteries, GGTS, Ecigs E-Cigs E Cigs E Cigz

Can you give an estimated battery life with those cartos? obviously it will depend on cell type and capacity but a ball park figure would be great.

I had a 3.0ohm KR808 on my GGTB today and with an 1800mAh 17670 fresh off the charger @ 4.16v it lasted the whole work day and then some (reads 3.93v right now so plenty of life left) i have been taking around 10x 3 second tokes every other hour (rough estimates) and i measured a current draw of 1.13amp so i am happy that this will last me even through a 12 hour shift, however i would like more vapour and throat hit and had considered trying a low resistance carto but perhaps a higher resistance carto at higher voltage would be more advantageous? or Imeo could just make an AVS and i could pop in a LR901 atty just like in my GGTS/AVS ugly stick :D

Take care.

explotion has happened already in the hands of Mist_of_Joye Ways. Venting holes save him. GG is still ok.

Aaaaah....sweet memories...hehe

I'm still using the Grant on a daily basis by the way. I still love it and I still find it the sexiest piece of Mod ever. It really has a special place in my heart.

Ouch , do you know what cells he/she was using?

Here you go Ways. Enjoy the show...hehe http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/64570-gg-safety-tested-proved.html

A testament to the build quality of that grant! very impressive, good job on the cleanup too. I think i will stick with the AW IMR single cell and LR atomiser format in my GGTS and Protected 17670's in the GGTB although seeing as its guy fawkes day here in the UK perhaps i should try a couple of unprotected cells in my GGTB would make for an unusual firework ;)

Ok, I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and I like it! Very well built, love that nickel finish and the locking button. I will patiently wait for an AVS, and that should complete it. I have tried several 17670's on it-Ultrafires that I had on it and I ordered 2 more from Iken that were on sale. They all fit well so I'm sort of puzzled that others are complaining that they don't fit on it. Maybe I got the magic one!
