Hey guys, just needed some input in some experiences im going thru. I just started vaping about two weeks now. I found out i was sensitive on my first week and got a dry, irritated sore throat. So i changed from a 50/50 blend to AVE boba bounty. Now after a week of vaping that and some other AVE juices. It seems like the flavors of my juices are diminish ... I was wondering if anyone else had this reaction to vaping? Now when i vape some times , it feels like im vaping a juice with no flavor. On some occasions it i will taste a little of the boba bounty... Thanks, any input of your experiences will help a lot!

It happens to me as well, and from what I have read it is quite common. I have read that there are a couple things that may be causing it, first are you drinking lots of water? Staying hydrated is very important, something in PG/VG causes dehydration (if I can find the link I'll post it). The second thing I've seen is that our taste buds are damaged from smoking and go thru changes. I've found it helpful to change the flavor of what I am vaping when I can't taste my favorite juice. Some people have said when you can't taste the vapor, that's a good time to vape that juice you don't really like. I haven't tried that yet.

Edit, you guys are much quicker than me, it took me forever to type this

I find this happened more often when I hadn't had enough to drink. In fact, even now when I am having an "off taste day" it reminds me to drink more. But since you are in the first few weeks, it is most likely your taste buds recovering as Kiwi said. But a bit of water sure wouldn't hurt :)

True that, staying hydrated helps as well.

my first couple weeks vaping were horrible and i wasn't sure i would be able to keep it up.
i had irritated throat, a heavy chest, breathing troubles, etc...it's gotten much better but i still have my days.

as for juice, i still have days where i can barely taste any flavour...haven't been able to determine why but i'm just glad the irritation has subsided.

My setup is a vamo v2 with 3 viva novas and i have over about 8 ejuices from alien vision. I do drink a lot of water compared to when i was smoking analogs. Is it because i was smoking boba for the past week and another flavor?

Its just something that happens as taste buds recover. You can try vaping menthol, or adding a little menthol to your juice until it passes.

hmm its been about 3 days that i havent tasted any flavors from juices. I stopped 2 days with out vaping or smoking analogs, hoping it would come back by today (3rd day). But still no luck, tongue just feels numb and tasteless when i vape.

If you are only three days off the smokes then that's part of it I'd say.

no im actually off the analogs since 1/22/13 , i been off both for the past three days now. But i just had a vape today to see if i could taste my flavors in ejuices. But i still cant taste any flavors.

Charles its what people here have said - it happens. I recommend getting some menthol juice if you don't have any. This has happened to lots of us.
