Your best bet is to dismantle some food-grade all natural untreated cotton cheesecloth. A lot of guys have been using those threads with a lot of success. Just remember to always boil any cotton for about 30 minutes and let it dry before you try to use it. Also cotton will burn if it goes dry and will need immediate replacement if it does burn. One more cotton tip: It swells. Leave extra room when you wrap your coil to give the cotton space to expand. You'll want to do the coil, then put some juice on it and just let it sit a bit to swell up or your coil wont make perfect contact on fresh wicks.

You can also get some of the german silica from RTD or other vendors might have it, it's good stuff and you can pull off any thickness you need. I take my trimmings after re-wicking my IGO-L and use those to wick my IGO-S at the same time.

Best of luck!
