Ok, guys and gals, I want to try my first atomizer, to get into trying flavors better and easier, and I need your help. I use the Twist exclusively, and an e-power as a backup, what do you recommend for my very first atomizer? I have been an exclusive clearomizer user, no polyfill as it tastes bad to me, if that matters... Which one to get that does not cost an arm and a leg please?:)

I've only used genuine Joye 510 LR (1.5ohm) atomizers and have never felt the need to look any further. I've gotten an average of 2 months out of each one with extensive usage. The longest I've had one go is 6 months, and I've only ever had ONE that popped, every other one (out of I'm guessing 60-70 I've used in my vaping lifetime) has worked straight out of the box (after dewicking of course).

This is my deal right here. Comes to about 5$ an atty with shipping, and VaporKings are actually pretty close to me so I get my package in about 3 days every time.
Genuine Joye 510 1.5 Ohm LR electronic cigarette 10-pack of black atomizers

If you didn't want to take the plunge into 10 atty's right away, this is the best price I could find on singles (from a vendor I've used before) on a quick search

Thanks, that's a great price and very doable. I might want to check to see if they have a standard resistance, the 1.5 might be too low for my Twist.

Hello there Big-
Me too. I'm about ready to try an atomizer. I'm looking at the Cisco HH-357 @ 1.7 ohm. Not cheap tho.
Feedback on this?
Equipment: Kgo 1100 mah

Was thinking the same, but they are pricey. Maybe I get started on a joye, and then if I
Iike to drip, go for the HH...

Let's see if anyone else chimes in on this thread...

hanna says that you shouldn't be using an HH-357 on an ego style batter. BUT, personally, i found no problems using my 1.5 ohm hh.357 on my pass-thru ego and my smok-tech ego.

it's v.t.f. (vapor, throat hit, flavor) so far from what i tried is incomparable to any other carto/atty i've had. the only jist i have against it is (through some mild research) i found that i broke-in my first hh.357 so much i lowered the ohm on it using an ego that it won't fire anymore on my vmod. that's just my guess though on what happened.

but to put it bluntly, the 357 is worth it. very very very worth it. you just have to take care of it. put it in a cleaning cycle every week or two depending on what pg/vg % you vape.

The two best flavor generators on the market today are the hh.357 and the i06. If it is the truest representation of your juices' flavor you are looking for, then it's one of those two. Since you've indicated a minor balk at the price tag of the hh.357, the i06 might be the better choice for you.

The i06 is eight or nine bucks - plus you'll need an i06 sleeve or an i06 drip tip. The plastic i06 drip tip is three bucks. I wasn't fond of it, but it's good enough to get started. I got my last couple of i06's from ecigcharleston (I think Ikenvape is still down, but should be back online very soon).

When I bought my Silver Bullet from Capt. Louisville here on the forum he was kind enough to send a couple of these dual coil atomizers with it. I am a pretty hard core dripper and I have to say these dual coil atty blew me away. Great vapor and flavor.

I think a 2 ohm would be good with the Twist but they make them from 1.5 up to 3.5 so finding one at an ohm rating you like shouldn't be tough.

Funny, I pulled out the VOM to check the ohms on the generic atty's I got with my ccv e-power kit.
Dead on 3ohms even after being used for nearly two weeks and being cleaned w/ isopropyl alcohol. Not bad. :)

Hmm, I really prefer the LR feel of those Resurrector cartos.

I might get me a Ovale V8 next month for my b-day, so the 3ohm wouldn't matter then....but for now I rly like the LR on 3.7v.

Ah..nvm..I just saw these babies: http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/store/...rs/955-new-cov-dual-coil-atomizer-15-ohm.html

The i06 looks promising and the price is fantastic. How do you feel about the Cannon? Just saw it while looking up the i06..

P.s. They look to be sold out of both the i06 and the Cannon, the things are popular, I see!

In both flavor and vapor performance, the i06 is the better atty. The cannon is a good atty, but I like the i06 better. - They'll have new stock soon and ikens website should be back up this week from what I read in their sub-forum.

Between the i06 and the hh.357, the flavor from the hh.357 is better and vapor production is very similar. I can't say about longevity of the i06 yet, but the one I'm using has already gone a month of about 4-5 hours of use a day and has consumed about 60 or so ml. The hh.357 I'm using now has been used daily since 1/24 of this year and 10+ hours a day for the last 3 months for a total consumption approaching ~500 ml. It performs just as well now as it did new.

The hh.357 is a little finicky and is prone to spitting if not fed perfectly. I have that one on my VVPV (I swear they were made for each other) and really enjoy it. The tendency of the hh.357 to spit is what caused me to try the i06 for my bottom feeders. I can feed the hh.357 perfectly on my bottom feeders 99% of the time, but I really hate that once in a hundred that I overfeed it a little and it spits. I'm really glad I decided to try the i06. It is a great value.

So, in your opinion, either the i06 or the HH are both great, so flip a coin or go cheaper with the i06?

I use the standard resistance joye 510 atomizers and they are very reliable. I got mine from myfreedomsmokes.com for $5.95 a piece. They also have the low resistance ones for $1 more. Just make sure you get a drip tip if you don't already have one.

Thanks, another Joye 510 vote:) How long do yours last before you need to buy another one? Have you tried a HH or an i06?

from what i read, if you haven't tried to do anything physical to see yourself what happened to a dead hh.357, you can send it back to hanna and he can either try to fix it or send you a replacement. it's been said in a few reviews and threads but it's said so rarely you might have a hard time trying to find proof. i will trying to contact him about my dead hh.357 and see what goes on from there.

the i06 would be my 2nd choice; though i've not personally owned one i just judged for myself with the (at least) 30+ google searches i did comparing it to a 357. vapor's on par with the 357, but flavor is just a tad more "better" on the 357. at least that's what more then 2/3's of what the reviewer's said on videos and review threads. the other 1/3 couldn't tell the difference. take it with a grain of salt though, that's where my research brought me

either way, the man behind the 357 is a vote for me if your counting votes. he's even working on an atty-tank that won't just fit the 357, but fit any standard atty out there. i will be getting my forth hh.357 when that comes out, so it's something you may want to keep in mind if you come to love dripping but hate the tediousness that comes with it. i was purely a super-mega carto-guy (the giant dual coil clear carts) until i got a hold of a 357.

as for longevity, i can personally say that it's lasted a good 2 months before i crapped it out (my first one) my 2nd one is a long barrel 2.0 ohm that has lasted about 2 weeks (so far) and finally broke in to my comfort zone last night. If you do end up getting a 357, infact any of the higher top-notch atty's in the market, there is a break in period so don't get discouraged if your not liking it at first. just vape and vape and vape till it settles.

in comparison to my first ever atty which was a joy 510, it did last me a long time at only 5 dollars from my local merch before i decided i wanted to change flavors. mileage will vary with those though. I went through 3 in 2 weeks because the first one i got had vanilla extract juice in it i couldn't get out (which still works today but has been in my box of vape equipment), and the 2nd one was doa after a day. the third i got a few days before my hh came in the mail. been collecting dust since. i'm assuming it works... if it didn't dry out already.

Thanks Donnee, that's another vote for the 357:)

You mentioned in your post the Joye, which has good votes on here too, how was the flavor compared to your 357? Is it massively different or just a little bit different. The reason I ask is that the price on the Joye is obviously inviting and wondering if it's a good way to test to see if I even like the concept of dripping defore I buy a 357?

I also have a DOD at home, that I won the 2nd week I started vaping. I have not been able to use it yet, but now I'll have an opportunity to try it out:)

Going to place an order tomorrow based on the votes here, so thanks to all that are helping out in the decision. Let you all know my decision and then my reviews on whatever I get...
