because of all the great info i got from here last night i think im ready to order a riva 510 starter lite bundle from liberty flights i just had a few questions.
1. is this riva a genuine riva? (not a replica)
2. it comes with 10 blank cartridges, why so many? do they go bad?
3. how long does/should a full cart last if i smoke a pack a day of analogs now?
4. how long does/should 30 ml of juice last compared to a pack a day?

also just wanted to say im so glad i found this site really helpful people here almost blew 109 dollars on greensmoke til i found this site. the riva just looks like a beast pv all the reviews and videos ive seen are awesome. cant wait to do some serious vaping and thanks in advace.

Yes, it's a genuine Riva 510, but the Riva 510 is a clone of the Joye 510.

Cartridges themselves don't go bad, unless you break one. However, the juice in the carts can be bad tasting.

How long a cart lasts depends on how much an individual vapes. Some people get by with one or two carts a day.

Once again, how long 30ml of juice will last depends on how much vaping you do. It seems most people here use about 3ml a day. I seem to use about 3 to 4 ml a day.

yep its the real deal and the carts are just nice to have, you can put different flavors in them or fill a few up before you go out for the day so you dont have to worry about refilling on the go, id assume that 3 carts would last you about a day and thats equal to about 3-4ml so that 30ml bottle would last you around 8-10 days, it seems that when you first switch over to PV's you will vape a lil more then once youve done it for a week or so. hope this helps a lil, id reccomend getting some more juice to start off just so u dont run out fast, get a few flavors to keep you intrested!-)

Unless a cart gets melted or gets loose it can be used a long long time. When the white stuffing gets old and messed up, you can try replacing it with blue foam or a number of other things. If they are standard 510 carts then buy some of the precut blue foam pieces - 10 pieces for 75 cents at strictlyejuice.com

The blue foam lasts a long time, holds its shape, easy to wash and pat dry.

Good advise dor, and yes the carts that ship with the 510 Riva from LF are standard round 510 carts so the blue foam should work fine..you can also buy the blue foam from PetSmart in the aquarium section and cut your own plugs..a bit more trouble but likely available near by..just another option.

It will come with the filler... its not cotton though. There are a lot of alternatives to using filler as well, you can drip directly onto the atomizer (Thats what I like) it provides about 6 -10 good drags, make sure you take the filler out of the cartridge before doing this though! You can also get cartomizers which is like a cartridge and atomizer combined into 1 unit, it lasts a long time before you need to refill it. Check this 5 Tips to Make Your 510 Cartridge Work Better | eCigology out if you want more info on cartridge stuff, also browse the blog for more info on all kinds of stuff, its geared towards beginners =)

Oh and, DON'T FORGET TO BLOW OUT YOUR ATTYS

This has been a public service announcement

Lol, Thanks mlinky, this is true attys come with some primer fluid..to keep them moist, it tastes nasty, so as our wise Kentuckian suggests grab a paper towel place it over the threaded end that screws on the battery and blow from the other end to clear some of that liquid out before using it. Thanks for thinking ahead M.
