I haven't used either of the toppers you mentioned. All I can say about that is that the Provari only has a 510 connection, so if your toppers are ego threaded, you need to also order a 510 to ego adapter when you place your order. As for batteries, if you just have two, you may wish you had ordered more. My Provari is the full-sized version, and I'm always charging two batteries for several hours every night. I have four and rotate them.

And congratulations! I think you'll love the performance of the Provari. If you don't, they have great resale value.

the provari is a good choice i have 2 mini's i prefere the 490's over the 18350 but i still use them i dont think the extra year service is really needed mines almost 1.5 yrs old and looks beat to rat poo poo but works as it did day one ive dropped on concrete many times ..broken 5 tanks ....and it still works awesome. the nautilus is a good tank i use them when i dont feel like messin with rba's

If you know you're going to keep vaping and this isn't a fad, then I'd say yes. It's a little spendy for something you might only use for a few months.

Particularly because it's as simple as it gets without loosing any functionality. Variable voltage, check. Battery voltage meter, check. Resistance meter, check. Reverse battery protection, check. Thermal cutoff, check.

Safe, easy, reliable. The only downside is the price, but if you use it for years, you're ahead because of the reliability.

The Provari is like a Hollywood starlet past her prime but refuses to step down. There are many devices on the market today with better electronics, OLED screens, better menus, USB updating, built in charging and the list goes on. Where the Provari does excel is build quality and customer service but if they don't start to innovate soon they will be left behind with their fanatical fan base. If the Provari suits your vaping style, you can happily vape within its limitations and the price doesn't bother you then it will serve you well. One nice thing is when they finally upgrade the electronics Provape will probably offer an upgrade to your device at a reasonable cost. This is another aspect to their customer service you will not find with any other current manufacturer. In closing my intentions are not to inflame their fan base on these forums but present a different point of view.

The Provari Mini is my regulated mod of choice. I usually run mine with a rebuildable tank atomizer, Kayfun or RSST. But it shines very well with a Protank 2 for me, as well. My next topper purchase for the Provari will be an IBTanked carto tank.

What Singaw said is very accurate. The Provari is not the newest mod or the most state of the art vaping technology. However, if you like vaping in the 1.3 - 2.2 ohm range around 10 - 15 watts, the Provari is really, REALLY great at what it does. While the some of the newer chips go higher wattage, in those ohm ranges, you'll get a super warm vape at 30+ watts. Not everyone's cup of tea. I enjoy a warm vape, but not as my all day vape set up.

So it really is up to you. In the Provari's price range, you have options. But getting a Provari Mini is never going to be a wrong option. Also, their customer service is second to none in the vaping world.

I have both the mini and the full size provari. I have an extra battery for both so I'm never SOL when it comes to that. Personally, I like the nautilus, but they're not cheap, so Now it's off to the land of RBAs for me!

I've never once had buyer's remorse for my Provari. As Baditude notes in his blog, you get a smoother vape from it. You are gonna love it!

Personally, I'm holding out until the new version comes out, though it seems to be nothing but rumors up to now. It's an excellent choice nonetheless, but I'd so like a 30watt Provari.

I've got two ProVaris. One mini with the extension cap and one regular so,they both both take the same batteries. Love them both. I use all Kanger tanks. PRotank 3, Aerotank and aerotank Mega. Love them. The Aerotank Mega looks best on it but all three work awesome for me and they all take the same coils so that is nice too in my opinion.

You will LOVE your ProVari. Love love love. And I bet you end up with more than one....

Just got my provari mini delivered this morning. Wow! What a difference in the quality of the hit and taste of the juice. Im trying the Nautils tank at the moment. Got the unit set at 4.2. I love a big cloud. How high can you safely run it?

Personal preference and eliquid will determine that. Turn it up till it tastes a bit burnt and then turn it down a bit. It's only VV right now, so you might have to occasionally adjust to keep it there.

I usually start by checking ohms on atomizer setting. Then I start around 2 plus that amount and adjust up and down for flavor and vape production as last commenter stated.

I tell you, people have to experience a ProVari to really get the difference in quality and smoothness of vape between a device doing decent pulse width modulation and a 33.3 Hz one like the cheaper devices. Congrats on your purchase, you may get other devices over time, but I've never heard anyone say they were sorry they bought a ProVari.
