Hello Fellow Vapers,
So I have been looking since I have gotten into vaping for real Carbon Fiber vaping access. and there is none that I can find only wraps... A little about my addiction to Carbon Fiber-
SInce I can remember I have loved Carbon Fiber, I started using and making Item's when I worked with Bill Davis Racing and grew to love everything about it. I made part's I could not find for myself and other's vehicles and it went from there. My last RX-7 was a Carbon Fiber ..... and I even convinced wife to let me get a Carbon Fiber wedding band to match Carbon Watch/Cuff links/bracelet/Cross Necklace. So now you know how far I take my Carbon Fiber addiction I am going to take it even further!
I was asked by a close friend of mine to make him a odd part for his car and told him about the time and effort needed to make a mold and vacuum the epoxy resin and not to forget cost... He still wants me to make it so I will be getting some Carbon Fiber Cloth and the expensive part which is the epoxy resin and will have some to spare so.... I am going to do a prototype of a sleeve for my vamo as a sleeve, should be pretty easy but then I was thinking about the Aga t2 top cap and maybe doing a prototype on that but that will be quite the job as it is much more involved for that.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in REAL Carbon Fiber add-ons for their vaping toys, Keep in mind that there are factors to this that I want you to consider.
1. Price- Epoxy resin is a must to withstand over 400 degree of top caps, mine never get that hot but a cheaper option would be melting or deforming at roughly 220 degree and could use that for sleeve's just not top caps. Plus to make any thing I would need to buy a product if I didn't have to do testing and get perfect shape/Size.
2. Time- Since I am prototyping all these things it would be time consuming and since I have a child on the way I will have less time but really want to sleeve and top cap that are very real and something no one has!
I am going to make my sleeve and top cap and spend a little time testing and see how well they stand up to my abuse, I think I would be able to make other's if all goes well in about 6 months but just want to see how well it goes. If I can make one off's and all goes well I will invest in more RBA's and APV's to make more options but as of the first available options they will only be Vamo V3's and AGA T2 Carbon Product's. Would anyone be interested in a couple months helping me get measurements of their APV/RBA, Could possibly Make a deal and they get REAL Carbon Add ons at cost of material for helping as I cant buy every APV/RBA on the market.
