Real or Fake EGO T

I recently bought an EGO T kit from a supplier, but not sure if its real or fake. THe battery is extra long

It came with 2 batts, but the threads on the batt are on the inside , not on the outside as seen from the Joye Ego-T Model from online pics

In addition i purchased an EGO T atomiser online and it would not fit, as the contact on the Atomizer is further recessed into the cone.

But my friend who has a normal sized Ego T , his battery and mine both fit the USB Charger which i received in the kit and the atomizer which i separately purchased online fit his battery.

In addition the atomizers which came in my kit have 4 air holes while the one i bought online had 2.

Does your battery look like the battery in this picture?

The atomizer in with a ego-T kit is recessed because you attach the tank to it and it fits onto your battery. My regular Joye ego atty (not the atty for the tank) have 2 holes.

Did you get regular atomizers in addition to the tank atomizer that looks like this?

Do you have links to your suppliers' websites? That could help determine if it's real or fake.

Also, 1000 mAh batteries are longer than the 650 mAh model.

Hi Cignot, for the batt, the threads are on the inside of the connection , unlike the picture ,the threads are on the outside

I'm not an authority on batteries. I tried looking through the Library to see if I could see a similiar battery.

I have a Joye Ego and Ego-T and it doesn't look like mine. It does look like some sort of 510 battery. You purchased an Ego-T? A regular atty or cartomizer screws into the inner threads, but the Ego-T atomizer screws onto the outer threads which you don't have on your battery.

I know it's hard to get ecigs in Singapore. Can you return it to this guy and order a kit online? You may be able to use a regular atty or cartomziers on that battery but not the tanks.

Again, I'm no expert. Maybe someone here that knows more about it can help. I'm sorry your having problems. So frustrating!

I'm afraid all I know is it's not an ego. I haven't seen a genuine eGo with bling before. It looks cool though.

Oh, I've seen one of those - these are one of those clones.... The "blings" are actually battery life indicators - someone here in the forum was looking for them. They are not genuine eGo, but look like they should work.... From the outside they look like it - Are they not working?

Why not the tanks? His battery looks just like mine, for the eGo-T - the second picture is for the atty, not for the inside of the battery - I was confused at first.... Maybe it would help if he posted a picture of the inside of the battery.... But from the outside I see no difference aside from the bling on this one and the eGo-T mark on mine....

So far no prob with tanks i bought online, its quite standard

the problem will be the attys.... Do this guy sell attys? I would either try to return and get a real eGo or see if he can supply you with attys indefinitely - otherwise you'll be super frustrated when they burn, and they will burn.... You won't be able to fit generic cartos on this thing either.... I think your best bet would be replacing it.... Do they have another kit you can replace this with, that has the thread outside? I think it would be a fair trade....
