I noticed if I go more than 12 hours or so without using my pv I start to itch really bad. My feet my arms and hands and my back. I have open wounds from scratching them so hard. It's pretty gross. I have tried anti itch cream but nothing seems to work. And the problem doesnt end there I get itchy even when I do use my pv. I'm going to take some benadryl and see if that helps. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

doesn't sound vaping related to me. Enviromental, possibly. Polen, mold, detergent, soap, shampoo, anything can cause that type of thing. People can develope allergies at any time so, even if it was fine before, it could be the problem now. even air fresheners, bedbugs, fleas, etc... might be the source.

I have used all VG for a week to see if it stopped. I thought it was maybe the PG but it's not. I'm taking benadryl under the counter perscption for it righ now. The scratchings not as bad but it's still there very mild though.

The other thing to consider is seasonal enviromental allergins. I have a sensitivity to PG so I DIY using all VG with some PG flavorings. For the past week or 2 I have also developed a few extremely itchy spots. We have very few misquitoes and the spots are too small for misquitoes anyway but these tiny spots itch like that but itch even more intensely. Then the other day I was out working some of my dogs and felt a bite when I looked really quickly I saw and killed something REALLY tiny. Afterwards I had the same intense itching at the spot the bug had bit. After doing some research I beleive my culprit to be no-see-ums. Nasty little buggars and now I've sprayed the yard area for them. Long story short itchy bumps can be caused by almost anything.

This is just a total guess, but something you may want to look into and ask your liquid/flavoring suppliers about.
Linalool (pronounced /lɪˈnælɵ.ɒl/) is a naturally-occurring terpene alcohol chemical found in many flowers and spice plants with many commercial applications, the majority of which are based on its pleasant scent (floral, with a touch of spiciness). It has other names such as β-linalool, linalyl alcohol, linaloyl oxide, p-linalool, allo-ocimenol and 2,6-dimethyl-2,7-octadien-6-ol.
Linalool gradually breaks down when in contact with oxygen, forming an oxidized by-product that may cause allergic reactions such as eczema in susceptible individuals. Between 5-7% of patients undergoing patch testing in Sweden were found to be allergic to the oxidized form of linalool.[1] Ways to minimize exposure include not buying large bottles of perfumed hygiene products, and replacing the lid after each use.

Linalool can be found in many eliquids and flavorings.

Sounds familiar. Itching was worst on back of hands and specifically wrists, upper chest and back of neck, feet and specifically ankles, outside of upper thighs and upper arms right below shoulders. I used cortizone lotion and it did the trick (and helped the adrenals deal with some anxiety issues caused by withdrawal <grins>).
The itch lasted almost two weeks and was one of them evil side effects of detox (as the body adjusts to a healthier lifestyle the blood circulation improves and that causes the skin to itch). The entire problem was caused by me eliminating the nicotine completely. Once I figured it out, I simply started adding nicotine again and haven't had any problems whatsoever since.
Ask your doc about using hydrocortisol (or use OTC cortisone lotion) or up the nicotine content.
Best of luck!

Thanks last night I had a really bad itching attack and halfway sleeping I managed to add two more open wounds from scratching. Which sucks. I turned the lights on and looked all over for bugs where ever I had a scratch just to be sure it wasnt that. Didint find any. But thats what it feels like. Took some benadryl and advil and went back to sleep. I really hope this stops. I'm going to call my doctor and see if my nurse will perscribe some anati itch cream or up my dosage of bendryl.

I sooo know about itching, but I been doing that years---even before vaping.
It is most likely allergy related---I don't know if vaping is the culprit but something is setting it off. It may not be the PG or VG. Have you tried new flavors lately? Or a different vendor? Just as an example, I make my own liquid and I can't use Loranns flavoring but Capella's is okay.
The other option is environmental and if you haven't changed anything then it's probably just seasonal (it's going to be a rough one this year). Take the meds and use lotion. If it gets real bad ask your doctor for Triamcinolone cream---this stuff is great.

Thanks I'll ask for that. I doubt its vaping related.

Good luck Son, Hope you find out or at least get some creme for it to help. benedryl works good but will make you sleepy. I have used Claritin and also benedryl and those two seems also to help itching. I have also used the spray hormone stuff you can get over the counter and also helps as well. I am sure prescription would be best though.
