well, interestingly, my itching has almost completely dissapeared. i haven't changed any of my vaping habits.

im thinking maybe it had something to do with the changing of the seasons here on the east coast in the U.S.

pollen and all that. hmm, well, we'll see what heppens. so far so good though.

And mine has come back with a vengeance...LOL. Just when it had stopped...

So what's new? My new eliquid from JC, non-PG formula that I got yesterday. Now I'm wondering if it's the glycerine.

Or pollen. ?!?! The stuff is in my car, in my hair....LOL

Hubby cut the grass yesterday and put down TurfBuilder. But I've never had these kinds of allergies!

And I'm NOT stopping vaping! :D

Have you consulted with your Dr? I would. Hives are nothing to just wave away - your body's trying to tell you something is wrong in your environment, and its not happy...

If you continue to experiment on your own, winnowing out this variable and that one, you're going to end up with a lot of expensive clutter you're afraid to use.....

go see your doctor - that's what they get paid for :D

It depends on which liquid you buy. I just tried vapor4life.com and got terrible hives, previously I got hives from E-Cig.com juice.

I have been using Totally Wicked eLiquid for the last 4 months with no problem, I shouldn't have changed brands but wanted stronger flavor. JC has good flavor and doesn't give hives but clogged my atomizers.

Just shop around, and buy small quantities to test at first.

It just takes a little trial and error until you find a brand you like. But TotallyWicked is pure, causes no hives.

Good luck, Blort

Hives. Good Lord, I hate hives... I've had them about 5 times in my life and the most recent episode was about a month ago. I am waiting for my first e-cig right now to be delivered from China and now I am a bit worried.

*Shudder*

I sure hope this has cleared up for you by now, because I know the nightmare they can be.

IMHO it could be an allergy to VG.
Allergies to legumes are common.
Vegetable glycerin is produced as a byproduct of refining cooking and salad oils. These could include soybean and peanut oils. Peas, beans, lentils, lupins, mesquite, carob, soy, and peanuts are all legumes and can cause reactions. This allergy can cause urticaria (hives) and angioedema (swelling).
