Any kayfun models, I'd recommend the kfl+ or the fogger v4 if you want to run dual coils. They are big day to build on and fantastic devices. They won't leak ever and they create a very flavorful vape. Just jump in you'll do great, if you ever have any questions feel free to Pm me.

Decided I wanted to give this a shot, so I'll ask the vets here. I'm looking to try out a rebuildable tank, but I'm a bit nervous. What's an easy, good first time out rebuildable tank to try out?

Bottom coil rebuildable; kayfun style.
The older option is the genesis types which are topcoil and use steel mesh for wicking and so there's a bit more care a first timer has to take into account building them

The bottom coil types you can just use cotton wicks and get up and running faster.
There's the kayfuns; lot's of different versions I'm afraid and different manufacturers; kayfun, kayfun 3.1, kayfun lite, kayfun lite plus,

then theres the fogger, aqua, flash e-vapor, taifun;

I'd choose one that comes with a glass tank;

I find myself liking the aqua design these days; notice the knurled nuts on the posts so you can screw down without a screwdriver.

personally if your new to rebuildables don't go with the aqua because its a dual coil atty and is tricky. also a few posts up tbev mentioned the kayfun and fogger which are great but at first don't try doing duals coils on them, a single coil is the way to go initially. someone also mentioned the rsst, that is a great device as well but imo the kayfun type attys are better suited for someone wanting to get into rebuildables, also I just believe the kayfun is better.

I second the kayfun, get the kayfun Lite plus, it's got a full hole on the bottom makes things a lot easier, and you don't have to run it low ohms for a great vape. There is also a metal tank section to use in place of the plastic if you have juice that specifically days it will crack a tank,, some say that due to high acidity levels or something, but I've never cracked a tank anyway so don't worry about it.

Dripping=great flavor, easy setup and teardown for new and/or compulsive builders, generally small form factor. But the downside (for me) of having to continually drip to keep the wicks wet is a non-starter, I need my hands free.

Tanks=great flavor with more of set it and forget it sort of feel. Some are easier to get to the coil and wick. Some like the kayfuns need to be drained and mostly disassembled to be rebuilt. And they can be twice or more the height of a dripper, if that matters to you.

Pros and cons to each. My advice, buy all your budget will bear and figure out what works best for you.

Plus 3 for the KF.
Though I would also recommend a simple dripper to practice on as they are pretty hard to screw up

good advice about a dripper. if your just getting into rebuildables maybe a cheap dripper is indeed something that gets your feet wet before doing a rebuildable tank. although a dripper is not as convenient as a tank, it is something that is very easy to build.
