I got my ego a week ago sat I ordered a bottle of the same liquid that was in the prefilled carts. It was joyetech marl 24 and was way to strong! I was trying to quit so I toughed it out until I just couldn't stand the taste anymore(being sick didn't help). Ordered a bottle of 555 and that was a little better but still nasty. So after digging around ECF for a bit spent another 40.00 on liquid from vaporbomb and my cold clearing up tried the hypnotic mist and it was good for a minute and then just way to strong and really rich I almost tossed my cookies. So I let everything just sit for a couple days and tonight tried the arctic ice and the coffee I ordered and just made me sick to my stomach everything is just so rich. This last order was all 80/20 pg vg mix. Gonna try to set everything in the sun for a couple hours tomorrow and see if that helps but really kinda disappointed cause I want off the analogs. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. I did get a bottle of vg from wal mart and cut the first bottle and it helped a little but even thinking about vaping kinda makes me wanna hurl! and that just sucks

I think even the 18 mg can taste too strong. I would suggest trying 11mg juices. I started out on 11mg, but had withdrawal, upped it to 18 mgs, that helped the withdrawal symptoms but tasted very strong. After a few days went back to 11mg, been using that since and I like it.

If that is too strong I think there might be an 8mg.

I'm not sure if you don't like the nic strength or if you don't like the flavors, or both.

If it is the nic, well, obviously lower the level. I've seen folks recommend buying 2 bottles of the same flavor, one high, one low. This way you can mix to almost any nic strength.

Of course, if you haven't found a flavor you like, you might waste twice the money using that method. If you haven't liked tobacco flavors, coffee or menthol/mint, you might want to try some of the fruit flavors. Stay away from the candy type. The natural fruit flavors are pretty neutral. You may not love them, but you probably won't hate them. Some of the vanilla's are pretty mellow as well, at least for my taste buds.

One last thought. Standard carts are not known for the production of overpowering flavor. They don't tend to keep the atty wet efficiently. That's why there are lots of mods around to make them work better. I'm wondering if some of the bad taste you're getting isn't dry atty taste. You said the hypnotic mist was good for a minute. That may have been how long you were vaping juice and not atty. Just a thought. Also, if you burned the atty earlier, you may need to clean it well to get rid of the burnt taste.

I am highly sensitive to the tastes, too. I have been messing with making my own juice for about a week and a half now with The Perfumer's Apprentice flavors and I found that I can only tolerate one or two small drips into a 10-15ml mix. They are all so severely strong for me. I finally got my capella order yesterday and it's the same way. I made up a 10ml bottle of juice for the Yellow Cake Batter recipe I so drooled over and found their flavors overwhelming, too, so I cut the drips down to 1 of one flavor and 2 of the other and it's good but still strong and really doesn't taste like I was hoping. Very perfume-y. I don't know why I'm this way--I must be abnormal. That's okay... my flavors will last me a looooong time.

The sweetness is a factor, too and I get nauseous if it's too sweet, so I'm trying to find a good coffee flavor to mix with straight PG to get the sweetness factor to a minimum. Even at a 20-30 percent VG/PG mix with no flavor at all is too sweet. ?? I'm weird, I guess.

Edited to add: I've been vaping the vanilla yellow cake batter I mixed for about 10 minutes now and I have a headache because the smell/taste is too sickly sweet. Ugh, I can't get this DIY thing right at all.
