Really weird issue with Classic Kissbox atomizer

I cleaned few of my attys with the boiling in water method. I let them dry overnight and then refill them all. 3 of them seem to work better or the same as before but something strange is going on with one of the Classic Kissbox atomizers. I drip some juice in and start vaping. It works kinda ok but not nearly as good as the others. Then, when i blow it out to clean it for storage the leftover juice comes out bright orange, almost red. WTH? Juice I dripped in is very ligh yellow / almost clear colored.

Could the atty be rusted inside? Liquid coming out of it is kinda rusty coloured. The atomizer is the old model JC-302 which i think is alot worse than the new JKBC-304. Some sellers still seem to have the old ones in stock. I'd suggest you make sure you get the new ones before you buy.

So anyone else have had this happen or know what it could be?

Never heard of that before. Only one atty changes the color, and not the others?

Most I know of are brass and/or stainless steel. This is a guess, but maybe the juice changes color at a certain temperature, and that atty is running at that temp.

Maybe there is another explanation, but I really doubt rust. (IMHO)

I've seen pictures, about a year ago, of atomizers being used in hot and humid climates. What immediately came to my attention: the bridges were orange as could be (rust-coloured). So I would guess you are right in believing it to be rusty... it does seem that some brands at some time did indeed have inferior mesh, that could easily rust in hot and humid circumstances (and perhaps also in other circumstances, though I only really have seen this, as said, in atty's having worked in those climates). Probably also only happened with people that cleaned their atomizers and then left it to dry overnight, instead of 'oiling' the bridge immediately again with fresh liquid.
