Really would love some advice...

Greetings all!


So, I have an Evic and I have used the Kanger Protank 1 and 2, the Kanger Unitank and currently using the Vision X.jet Nova BDC. I am not experiencing good flavors with any of these tanks. I seem to have better vapor with the X.jet, but not like some of the videos out there.

I am currently running about 8 watts (or about 3.79 volts) on the 1.8 dual coil X.jet. I have tried many different combinations of ejuice pg/vg from 100/0 to 0/100 and I really am not impressed. Many different flavors as well.


Am I missing an important step somewhere that is preventing me from getting good flavors and vape?

What liquids are you vaping? I've experienced very light flavor from liquids from some vendors.

Up the volts (or, better yet, run in watts and up the watts)

Flavor will transmit better with PG

"Clouds" will be thicker and denser with VG

Are you looking for flavor? Or are you looking for the vapor like some of the videos out there?

For a dual coil on the evic I would goto 4.0v or around 10.5watts for better vape.

Regarding pt1/2/uni check into rebuilding with micro coils and cotton. Flavor is great and vape is too. I prefer the rebuilds right over the duals I have tried.

I appreciate all the advice - think I may have figured it out... I can only afford a bottle of eliquid per paycheck so I try to find the best deal on larger bottles. I think that I am growing accustomed to the flavors and therefore losing flavor. I am going to try to get smaller bottles of different flavors and see if that helps!

Switching flavors throughout the day really helps keep things fresh! I have found that 50/50 blends generally offer the best of both flavor and vapor, unless you start getting into some of the higher-end liquids that have more VG and more flavor in them. Kanger Protanks are really good once you've learned to rebuild them with cotton, the flavor comes out WAY more. I find them to be the easiest to rebuild and get a consistent vape once you perfect the process. Good luck to you and happy vaping!
