Yep, that device was / is originally made by darkzero here on ECF. Looks like he's been cloned. The thumb screws do look to be nice though.

Here's the original and it does work excellent :)

His wasn't cloned.. The "idea" was cloned.. The jig I have looks nothing like the one pictured.. Maybe the shape is a bit similar, but a clone is the exact same thing. Judging by the picture all that does is hold a wire and a loose unstable pin. The one I purchased has way more flexibility. Sorry you have taken a product similar and of the same concept but nothing of a clone personal..

Call it what you want but the size and shape are identical from what I see.

Loose unstable pin? Not hardly. It's held in place by set screws.

Aside from some (rather cool) thumbscrews, a (rather cool) place to store the pins and a (rather worthless) "510" connector, it's pretty much an exact copy.

Personally? Nah. Just callin it as I see it. Call it whatever you want. Chef doan judge :)

Have been waiting awhile for DarkZero to restock his inventory. While I would prefer to purchase this jig from him, I may have to go with KKVapetek if he has them in stock ready to ship.
Maybe DarkZero will see this and let us know what the status is on his jig?

Just so you and everybody knows.. This IS NOT my product.. I bought this from my local vape shop.. So your tries of running me off bringing up this "darkzero" character, are going to fail.. I just thought it would be helpful to some.. For the record, I been ghosting on the forum for quite a while now and I have yet to see this darkzero person sell a single item.

Made my own at work today. Its set up to use 1/16 or 5/64 drill bits.

Nice.. You better watch it though, people will cry clone!! Lol!

You are right, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, nothing personal at all... I was just making a jest at how similar it was to the DarkZero jig... That is it...

We get it, it's not your product. Then again, kinda figured that because "you" provided a link to where "you" said you purchased it!!! Its all good. No one is trying to run you off!!! Just to let you know, the DarkZero jig was made quite some time ago, (by DarkZero himself), and there are only a handful of people that actually have them. He doesn't sell them online or at any B&M... Most of the people that have them are friends of his here on the forum. Like I said, its all good. Thanks for the link and a good laugh while we're at it... The one you linked looks like it was made by Mattel... BTW, i'm hoping you didn't actually pay $20 for that thing!!! You got took my friend!!! Parts and labor for that thing was probably in the $4 cost range... That makes for a healthy mark up, or should I say "rip off"....
