just started rebuilding vision clearomizers and the 32 kanthal wire is working well. it depends on the carto and what ohms you want to be at. From what I understand the smaller the wire the more you can wrap as there is less resistance.
by smaller u mean thinner?? from my experience, the thinner the wire the higher the resistance.. it also depends on how many wraps you do.. less wraps = lower resistance.. i prefer vaping around .9 - 1.2.. haven't tried going any lower =D..

Resistance is proportional to length and inversely proportional to diameter of wire. Conductivity is a coefficient. So thicker wire means less ohm, more wraps means longer wire used means more ohm.
