Know this is an old request, but I have cases of 'vintage' Smoktech Cartomizers and a custom 10ml tank which these fit into. Sell for cheap. Have had them in storage (in-home) for quite some time.
I still have some vintage carts. Mainly just looking for old school rebuildables. I appreciate it for sure!
I've got a crapload of vintage stuff, including brand new dna boards still in their original boxes along with everything needed to build your own mod, including detailed step-by-step instructions.
I literally have a long catalog written down. Shoulda listed everything years ago.
I was a well known Co-Op host on several forums for quite a few years.

I have quite a stash of old school goodies myself. Most of it still works too. I don't like too much of the new stuff, personally. Rebuildable cartomizers are really hard to find these days. I'm not sure how "common" they were back then. Seems like the rda's took the market pretty quick and people forgot about cartomizers.
Yeeeah, I've been vaping a looong time. Started in 2007 before vaping was even a word yet.

My most valuable items should be considered "museum-worthy". Have 6 unopened boxes of the original Joyetech 510 atomizers. These were the holy grail back in the day. Each one cost $10-$15 a piece (just 1 atomizer). A box of 5 was like $50. Insane right?
There were 2 critically important inventions made at that time that made vaping what it is today. One was the Janty (Joyetech brand) 510 atomizer. I can't even find a picture of the original Janty in Google images. The other was created by modders and that invention was the fire-button.
Dunno if you've ever heard of the Lavatube, but I still have one in a sealed box. That was a massive co-op here. Can't remember how many rounds I ran with those? Two or three if I remember right (?). Here's the only image that I could find of it, which is actually a still image from a YT video review dated in 2011.
There really needs to be a museum for vaping, how cool would that be?

Yes I remember. I started around 08 with totally wicked from the UK. I remember the early crap devices. I remember the 901 and 808 haha. I still have some joye and Kanger stuff. I can remember when the kick came out and you had safety for your homemade mech mod haha. A museum I could donate to. I gave the oldest a tour of the vaping "evolution". Back then we used a voltmeter to check if your rebuild would be safe before people had rebuildable atomizers. Things have changed . . I've got all the hardware a guy would need. I personally, just need a solid supply of Boba's. Really sad they closed.

I still have Cisco's laser mod tutorial (pdf). Grimm Green gave a review on it some 15 odd years ago.
That was the 2nd mod that I built myself. I LOOOVED that thing! It used a 10440 size battery along with a Joye 510 atty using a Cisco 510 adapter. Dayem, those were the days of simple enjoyment.
It was a pain to build though cuz I didn't have a drill-press and had to hollow out the solid brass cone by hand. But when I finally completed it, it was blissful vaping for some time. I was crushed when the fire-button finally died. Deal Extreme no longer carried that laser pointer, so building another one wasn't an option. Wished I'd have kept it for nostalgia, but I buried it instead, put a lil' pop sickle stick sign over it (R.I.P.) ... *sigh* .
But like Grimm mentions in the video, it was vaping bliss for us MTL vapers.
Remember the old maglite mods? Haha dangerous times to be guinea pigs to get us where we are now. I remember people freaking out about the amount of vapor that would come out of some of the modified stuff compared to what you could buy. I shocked the people at the vape stores with a fancy coil build running temp control and no wick to sample juice. Ground breaking back then . .
Hmm, I don't recall ever seeing a vintage Maglite mod (assuming the 4 or 5 D-cell battery size?)
I do remember the onslaught of dangerous idiots doing stupid things that would be the eventual cause for heavy regulations due to large explosions both at homes and shopping malls.
There was a guy here years ago who built files listing mods and tanks. He posted the files regularly and asked folks to contribute stuff he didn't have in the files. He did it as a historical record. The files got pretty big, but I haven't seen them for a long time.
That would be really interesting to see just how much he cataloged.
The early days of modding produced some really outstanding and creative devices.
Dave Giordano's (Breaktru) site is loaded with homemade creations long before the modern-era of vaping evolved.
This was where a common electrical doofus like me learned how to build my own vape safely.
Those experimental early years were the most fun and exciting.
I just looked for those threads without any luck. I know I posted a few times with stuff I had that wasn't on his list and he added them. I searched on a couple of those items and nothing showed up. I seem to recall when ECF moved to new site software there were problems with searching for very old stuff. Wish I had written something down, probably never find them now.
So many wild inventions back in the early days.
One of the most interesting and genuinely brilliant inventions at that time was the TSAF, also known as the Spark-o-matic. A mini arc-welder made from a disposable camera that was primarily used for making DIY coils, which didn't exist prior to that time.
This would've been a prime candidate for the history archive. Just the sheer amount of creative genius and problem solvers back then, sure was a wild ride seeing all of it as it happened.
Americans made vaping what it is and China had no choice but to use American ingenuity for the industry's progression.
