but I don't get it.. does the taifun need the wick to go down and through the coil. through those 2 little holes?

That is quite a tedious procedure..

I mean.. it's not hard.. hmm... but... hmm...

If you're looking for a RBA that doesn't require the wick to go through the coil then you might be looking at the wrong product. If you'd like to know what you're getting yourself into then go on youtube and search [RBA name] build.

Is it tedious? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes.

no i'm talking about the 2 little holes Above the coil which is capped by a separator

Obviously I know the wick has to go through the coil. :D

but in this one black-dude video, he got the wick through the coil AND the two holes in the separator cap..

I was wondering if this was absolutely necessary

I've tried it both ways with the Taifun GS and prefer the mesh. Rather than the fiber wicks going up through the holes, the wick is laid down on the deck as with any other type dripper. Then two little mesh tubes are inserted through the holes until they touch the fiber wick bed below. They are simply little 'feeder' tubes that transfer the liquid from the tank area down to the wick area. Seems complicated, but it actually is very simple and efficient. The mesh 'feeder tubes' last a long time and can be reused over and over; the coil is around the fiber wick, not around the mesh.

Tank filling is also very simple and clean. Just hold it upside down, unscrew the tank from the 'wick and feeder' section, fill the tank, screw it back on, turn it back upright and vape. I never get dry hits, and never get leaking.

The mini kayfuns are great for a twist battery. They even come with a little transition ring. The ones from angelcig work well (ivogo) but the tanks fit real close to the chamber. I've heard the tobeco is a tad better but I've never used one. The ivogos work fine.....and they do come with the clear tank section. The mini kayfun works every bit as good as the taifun GS....actually, they work better. Easier build, better aesthetics and better flavor. 1.4 ohms is good on a twist.
