Just wanted to stop in and say hello. Also wanted to provide a little info on rebuildable tanks. I recently received 1:1 clones of the Russian 91% and kayfun lite. The main reason I'm writing this is due to my surprise regarding how tight the airflow was on both. I say was because I drilled both of them out. They were far tighter than I expected and much tighter than the nautilus mini. I was able to open the Russian more than the nautilus but that was not the case for the kayfun due to the hole location being too close to the edge of the deck. I opened it as much as possible and even drilled the center pin. It is 100% better but still not as good as the nautilus. The only reason I'm comparing these things to the nautilus mini is because it is readily available and has adjustable airflow.

hello new to ecig vapeing about5 mo my question concerns mini nautilus I wonder if any one is having my problem, when I put a coil in the tank it seems to get stuck like crazy glue. the very first coil I got with the kit had a screen in it and it worked just ok second one got stuck had to boil it out I am using 50 50 vg pg I noticed the first coil had a screen inside it ok then I ordered 5 more coils and looked with my loop and it has no screen in it, the point im trying to make is why the difference in coils and is this thing dangerous I mean it sticks like super glue what a messed up product!! sick and tired of it no gurgling issues though. anyone having same problem?? I don't know what they stick in there but I have an mvp and im at 1.8 watts watch out if it gets hot yu will get the batter straight up your throat not pleasant I can assure you. I noticed they make a lot of knockoffs could this be problem? so fara waste of money works once or twice then the same issue so im going to a rebuildable bottom coil maybe this is something they aspire have to work out bummed out with it if some one is having this problem with aspire mini and knows the fix appreciate an answer thanx

I used to be a HUGE fan of the nautilus/mini and the BVC coils. and while they are great coils with pretty good flavor they can't beat a good RTA in flavor. I bought a exvape eXpromizer as my first RTA and I am seriously blown away by the flavor that this thing puts out compared to a BVC.

I do have to admit that the airflow on max is tighter than a nautilus on max airflow but that is normal since the BVC is vertical coiled so the air goes just through a tube while a normal coil build in something like a kayfun/taifun style RTA is gonna have the airflow go against a coil and around it.

I got tired of the BVCs because I kept on having to replace mine after like 3 days because they kept on getting tighter and tighter on airflow(still trying to figure out how the airflow is getting tighter though the inside of the coil is perfectly fine. and honestly having to buy a 16 bucks pack of BVCs every 2 weeks was getting expensive. I tried alcohol cleaning, dry burning, using a ultrasonic cleaner on the BVCs but that has a very low success rate.

now I just bought the expromizer and I still haven't had to change my wick out once after a week of intensive using(10-15ml a day).

also roberto. the second pack of BVCs not having a screen might be a red flag for getting bootleg BVCs. aspire has been having alot of problems with chinese companies copying the BVCs and hacking the security codes and stuff making the bootleg ones look legit.

Kayfuns and Russians are well known for their tight draw. Lots of threads here on ECF and lots of YouTube videos on this subject.

If you are looking for a RTA with a more airy draw look at a Fogger v 4.1 or the new Fogger v.5. If you are looking for a RTDA look at a Big Dripper. As for RDA's there are so many that can give you an airy draw that you would have to narrow down your specs before anyone could give you a good recommendation.

eleaf lemo??? hmm, did a quick search, looks like another Russian/Kayfun knock off to me. What exactly make's the lemo sooo special?? Big D is not even in the same category, but, built correctly can vape with the best of the best, after all it is a dripper, with a tank system that works, and hardly a disappointment, like say the Pontus. :D

lemo looks ok, but doesn't pull my "proceed to check out" trigger. But then since it doesn't come full metal jacket, makes it a major deal breaker for me.

I am looking for an RTA that is similar in size to the nautilus mini. I like the mini with t-tank on my provari but I want my own coil and great adjustable airflow. Both the RTAs I received were super tight (fixed the Russian) but they are also really heavy. I don't need a super huge tank because I don't mind refilling with other juices.

I guess I could rebuild the mini cartos but I don't want to. Big hands.

Since you already have the Kayfun, have you considered a nano kit? You can find cheaper than the one I link, I am just linking it because they are real quality and becuase it is a glass tank ( I am always prejuidice to glass over plastic tanks, you can find nano kits with plastic tanks too )

I guess it depends on the audience when airflow is reviewed. My Kayfun 3.1 with the 1/16" air ports is about the same draw as a loose cigarette filter. For those who lung hit, it would be too tight. For me, it could be looser and more adjustable, but it's fine for mouth to lung hits. I think most of the Kayfun user population would agree.

Kanger Aerotank Mega and the Aspire Nautilus were my favorites until the great atomizer fiasco of 2013. I'd go through a coil head a day and it just got too expensive to continue, so I switched to Kayfun. I have the BVC coils and those are fine, but now I'm Kayfun spoiled and the Kanger and Aspire sit in my vape box. They glare at me when I open the lid. :)

I guess I'm looking for something that has airflow and small form factor like the naulilus mini. Is there a fogger mini? I just don't see the point in adjustable airflow if all you can do is make it tighter than the kayfun or the Russian. They both have adjustable airflow but I can't believe anyone would run them less than wide open. I need an RTA that will allow me to take a lung hit or mouth to lung. As it stands, I can take a lung hit with the nautilus mini on the most open setting by pulling through the device and a small gap I leave near the tip at the same time. I don't want the draw to be as tight as an anolog. I would have to build a tiny coil to get the vapor I want like you see in a bridgless Atty.
