Rebuildable vision egos

I was really disappointed to see VV stop carrying the original vision ego's because I was able to purchase everything I needed from one vendor which was great. So I decided to try the rebuildable egos and these leak like CRAZY? I am losing an enormous about a juice, it leaks from the mouthpiece and it leaks from the battery end.. I never had the original egos leak I am very disappointed in these. Has anyone else used them? Did they leak? Were you able to fix it?

Ontop of that, it will ONLY work with 2 of my batteries, my ego twist. It will not work on the floral battery I bought from VV, and it will not work on my Rivas.

Zomgname, the CE5's shouldn't leak! There are a lot more parts that screw and unscrew so you want to make sure that they are all nice and tightened up. Check out this photo tutorial on how all the parts come apart and go back together:

For the battery issue, see ITEM #3 on this battery troubleshooting tutorial as I suspect the connections are just slightly off. It's very frustrating that hardware manufacturers all have tiny differences but this trick can usually make the connection work:

I discontinued the regular Vision Egos because I thought the rebuildable aspect would save people money as you can replace as needed without having to chuck the whole thing when the wick dies or the plastic cracks but we can certainly bring them back. Has anyone else had trouble with the new version or prefer the original?

Annette, that fixed the battery issue, thank you. I do like the rebuildable aspect, but I just can't seem to get it to stop leaking. I took it completely apart several times and back together... I just can't figure out why it's leaking, all the seals are there!
