Rebuilding Kanger E-Smart BCC Coils

Rebuilding Kangertech E-Smart BCC coils has been figured out. First rebuild took a fair bit of time & patience, but was well worth it. Biggest problem was getting into the small tight space & trimming the legs(which my daughter managed to do with the scissors from my nail kit). We will be making a "How-to" video for the second rebuild & posting it online when hers gets rebuilt sometime over the next few days.

Welcome, Ashton :)

Looking forward to your video
Finally did the video. First time doing an instructional video, hopefully I didn't do too bad. I have been vaping for 2 months & rebuilding my own coils for 1 month. Just waiting for my video to upload(slow connection). Link will be posted once upload completes.

I find a set of good nail clippers will help you trim that stuff way better than scissors do. And congrats on the successful build! I've rebuilt a few kanger protank 2 coils which are similar to the e-smart ones, 32g kanthal and organic cotton. I dunno though, just doesn't seem to work as good as the ones I buy even if the resistances all come out around the same. It's just nice to know I can do it though in case of a coil shortage emergency.
Oh... and of course, welcome!

Normally, I would totally agree with you about nail clippers being better for cutting the kanthal wire. But, unlike the protank coils, the E-Smart BCC coils have a raised base that surrounds bottom of the coil making it impossible for nail clippers to get in deeply enough to trim properly.

Here's the link to the video on how to rebuild the Kanger E-Smart BCC coil's. Sorry for the posting delay, had internet connection troubles. Btw, the leads need to be cut below the surface in the center of the insulator, and along the edge of the insulator along the outer edge.
