hey all - questions again...
I watched some videos on rebuilding the kanger coils - ive done well on my first forray into rebuilding coils to save $$$
ive been using 2mm silica wick with 30g kanthal a-1 wire managed an average of 1.3 - 1.7 ohm coils which is good for me - i like the lower resistance.
Here are my issues and questions:
Why does it kill my battery? (ego-c upgrade 2 & itaste v 3.0) the premade packaged lower ohm coil dont kill my battery... what gives? i have toyed with the idea of switching to a mod but i like the sleek feel of the itaste and the ego - anything thicker or bulky seems like a handfull. I like zero to no bulk.

With some trial and error ive had to tweak the "flavor" wick a bit - more wick for thinner juice less for a thicker etc. Once i get a sweet spot why is the tank gurgling and spitting at me after i get through half a tank? I like the flavor of my vape - but not the taste of my juice... ;-)

As i vape during the day the ohms seem to drop off... not always but most recently I started off on a 1.6 ohm coil by mid day it had dropped off to 1.3 - no tampering with the tank or battery...

That is all for now...
hopefully some of you vets will have some nuggets of knowledge to impart on this psuedo newb

Thanks a bunch!

Check out rip, he has mad skills. He was the micro coil inventor.

I run 1.8 ohms with cotton and can run 4.0v on ego battery for few days. Micro coils are great and cotton is cheaper then silica.

My evod and t3s are my running around tanks, but pt2 and russian are night gear.
