After vaping on my Nautilis Mini / ego, I love it. Howver after a trip to the movies with the family I realized "stealth vaping" is easier said than done. First there was the fire light on the button. Then there was the airflow, and loud coil. What to do?
Before I had the ce4, I had the mark ten I bought to try this hobby out. Just one, with one cartridge. MUCH easier to conceal and quieter. So I decided to open it up and look at it. Then I had "The Idea"! Today I put plan to action.
First took out the 4 hole endcap. Then the rubber retainer ring. Next the cotton wicking wrap and surrounding cloth. Behind that was a thing very close to a ce4 coil arrangement. pulled it and checked the resistance. about 3 ohms, but heavily used, ok got a baseline. Much thinner wire than the 30ga I have. Pused out the positive pin and grommet.
Then I installed a Bottom Vertical Coil wrapped in cotton just like I do for my nautilis mini!! Put grommet back in to secure negative lead, trimmed and replaced poositive pole, dropped some juice on her and..... Warmth and vapor!!!
Little slow to produce so I can play with little lower ohm or thinner wire if I can lay my hands on some... Just remembered I have some extra ce4 heads I bought and didnt use, bet it's thinner wire, lol.
Anyway Just wanted to share I turned my crappy mark ten into a stealth dripper I can hide with one hand and easily rebuild!
