Received first VV order - steeping question.

First of all I LOVE the glass bottles and drippers, my entire order was beautifully packed and got here quicker than I expected!

I am very excited to try these juices. I got:
Organic Black Cherry Marshmallow
Organic Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich
Organic Dark Roast Turkish Coffee
Organic Bananas Foster
Organic Blueberry Maple

50/50 pg:VG, 24 mg.

With the exception of the Turkish Coffee, they all smell alarmingly perfumy and strong. So much so that I decided not to even try vaping these out of the box. I uncapped them yesterday and left them on my kitchen counter, now my kitchen smells lovely. I plan on re-capping them today and letting them steep in my juice drawer - but for how long? I can't wait to try these juices but hate the "disappointing first vape" experience so I'm OK with waiting...if I must.

Hi bodrell, one thing you want to be sure to do is to stir them up nice and good. Sometimes the flavoring all hovers at the top and mixing will help distribute it more evenly. Steeping will also mellow out the flavor but how long you want to let them sit varies a lot by person and personal tastes. I usually encourage people to give it a try and then put it aside if it's not quite there. The Absolute line tends to peak in flavor after about a week and then mellow out, so I'd definitely give the Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich and Dark Roast Turkish Coffee a bit longer. I can also always bring the flavor down for you too in future if you like the taste but have a more sensitive palette which some people do. Keep us posted!

Thanks Annette! I do give all my steeping juices a shake or three daily...I am exercising admirable restraint in not breaking these juices out right away! I'll give them about a week.
The strong/perfumey smell dissipated while I left them open for a day; already they are smelling lots tastier.

I've probably wrecked my taste buds with 37 years of heavy smoking LOL but I will keep the flavor concentration in mind for my next order.

There has been only one juice from VV I let steep before use and that was the Kona Coffee Milkshake with the extra flavor shot and 18 mg nicotine. All have started out good and then matured to better, but not enough to make me leave them alone. I find just filling a carto and letting it sit uncorked overnight is enough for any possible alcohol trace. Even when I do indulge on day 1 of receiving my order, the warmth generated by the carto is enough to evaporate any alcohol. Just remove the plug or drip tip once it gets warm and let it air out for a few mins.

I have found that Annette's interpretations of flavors, or combinations of, are generally spot on. It's been more about me not liking to inhale certain flavors regardless of who makes them. Her 100% VG/12mg nic, Peach Vanilla Swirl and Bella Amaretto flavors alone have been keeping me in all day vapes for a couple months by now at least, from day one on out.
