I just wanted to drop in and say that I have found much acceptance of the practice of vaping in the state of Delaware thus far. Delaware has been a smoke-free indoor state for 8 or 9 years now; so people are used to frequenting "smokeless" public places. If they see smoke without an explanation, they are either going to yell "fire" or yell for a manager to tell someone to put their cigarettes out.
Tonight I went to one of our 3 local "gaming" establishments for the first time in about 6 years. While I was playing blackjack, I pulled out my Ego and sat it on the table so that it wouldn't accidentally be triggered (it was in the pocket of my slacks.) About 30 minutes later I asked one of the pit bosses if I could use it. I explained what it was and how it worked. I also agreed that if anyone had complaints or concerns that I would not use it. The pit boss agreed. People were great about it and I vaped all night long without a problem. Some people asked for demos and explanations (curiosity is a wonderful thing.)
Basically this is the experience that I have had thus far in the local mall, several restaurants etc. In short, I believe that a request accompanied by an explanation and demonstration of the device works wonders. It also educates others who may be considering trying an ecig.
Oh and uh by the way, I think that I should now call this my "lucky Ego" because I sat down at the black jack table with $100 and left with $400! It would have been $500 but I "gave" some of it back!
