I would like to thank Steve at V4L, I received my kit today, which I only ordered on Sunday Night, and I am very impressed. Even though this was my first order, there were extras in it already.

I also ordered some other flavor samples from V4L, today even before my order arrived.

But on topic I have one comment and one question.

Comment first:

I would be nice if there were some printed instructions in the package, for those of us who are new to E-Cigs. But I was able to figure everything out.

Question: Is it possible to kill a cart. In just a few hours? I have been hitting this pretty hard, since I opened it up at about 2.5 hours ago and I think I killed a cart already, It got pretty darn hot and just wont produce vapor and well there is an off taste to it. I have been using the USB connection, and some big heavy draws.
If in fact I killed it, I will chalk it up to the learning curve. Just would like to not kill them so fast as, I read another post about a lady saying hers lasted for days it seemed and she was using them heavily

I do really enjoy my Vapor King and am really pleased at everything included for the price. This thing ROCKS. It is a thing of beauty. I will be showing this off to all the smokers I know, trying to convert them.

Welcome to the gang Valkyrie!!!

Yeah, it is possible to kill a cart in a few hours with heavy vaping, I can go through a few if I'm at a party.

The key for telling whether a cart is dead or not, is when I stop tasting whatever flavor it is, and start to taste a flavor that has been compared on this forum to buttered popcorn. Which I think is pretty close.

Sometimes I think I consider a cart dead too early, but I don't mind that so much as I refill them and it's better to stop early than stop after burning the filler.

I'm still learning myself, as are many of us, but that's the great thing about our very active section of the forum, we tend to help eachother out as much as possible.

Hi Valkylrie, I'm over here in Lake Elsinore, not far from you at all. I just ordered my first VK and probably will be killing carts as fast as you are. :)

PUGZLEY! I am in Murrieta! lol

Well, nice to know if one of us gets in a crunch, we have someone to turn too! Although between you and me - I have enough stuff to last 6 months! If you ever run short, give me a hollar!

I think the key is that you said the cart was getting hot. It can only get so hot before can burn the innards. Hot will burn the filler so it doesn't mean you're out of juice.

If it is staying hot I suggest you swap between devices to let it cool down. They'll last longer since a burned cart is essentially a dud. I had to teach a friend I turned on to V4L how not to burn a cart a couple weeks ago. Yesterday it was a dipping lesson. :D

Just an FYI as it is already too late  , but they have an instruction/demostration video in the Vaper King Videos section of V4L. Here is the link in case you still want to watch it.

P.S. I am also a "noob" and so far I think i have burned 4 or 5 cartomizers :( Once you get started they are hard to put down.... :D

I am a cart killer as well. I know I am done with one when it tastes like toasted marshmallows. Maybe that is the flavor others describe as popcorn. I can see that I guess, perhaps kettle corn? I chain vape and I go through them like butter. I actually timed it this morning and on a laid back vape day, it went from 9am to noon. On heavier days, it is probably half that! No matter, refilling is a breeze (especially once you get the cap off the first time).

I sent my email the other day. But I am planning a large order tomorrow, just in case; I think just a lot of blank carts and a lot of juice. But I am only in to these 3 days, so I do not know my favorite flavors just yet.

I am waiting on an order to arrive from V4L as well as some refill juice for flavors I did not see Steve carries.

Here is my three-day tale, I got my first E-Cig on Tuesday, after I had ordered my VK, I got a Vapor 1000, and this is a dse-801. I do like it, it makes a wonderful back up and I was able to pick it up. I got it for basically this reason; I didn't want to buy another pack of analogs. I vaped on that Tuesday afternoon and evening and only had two analogs, Not to bad for a pack a day smoker.

I took it to work with me on Wednesday, but I didn’t bring enough supplies so I ended up having two analogs. Got home and my VK had arrived, with all its glorious parts and goodies, I vaped like a KING and killed two carts in under 5 hours.

Recharged all my batteries and took both to work today, Vaped my 801 on the way to work and then left it in the car all day, only used one cart on my VK at work, then vaped the 801 on the way home to finish it off.

Now I am back to my Usb on the VK and am so very happy. No analogs all day, no stress from the withdrawal. I am worried that I am becoming a chain vaper extraordinaire; I hope this is just the novelty and getting used them.

I smoked Marlboro Light for like 20 years a pack a day, and I am only Vaping 8mg stuff now, maybe that has something to do with it as well. But I already am beginning to feel better without the analogs. Just wish my wife understood. As I never smoked in the house, we have three kids and I never let the youngest two actually see me smoke. I really don’t want them to see me vape either. At 5 and 3 they want to be like Dad. So I hang in my garage workshop and Vape, they don’t really see any difference yet, give me another few weeks.
