I may want to sell one of my pv's and was wondering how you all like to receive payment. Money order, thru pay pal, or other ways? I have a pay pal acct., but have never used it for receiving payment. How do you set that up? Thanks.

If you already have a Paypal account.. once you've confirmed who the buyer is, you give them your email address that you signed up through Paypal with. The buyer (who also has Paypal), sends to your e-mail address.. Paypal deducts from their account and deposits to your account. There is a seller's fee if they purchase the item as "goods". There is no fee if they send "as a gift"... but if the money is sent as a "gift", there is no recourse if there is a problem with the purchase. That's why I always send as a transaction for "goods" and add a little over the agreed price to cover seller's fees.

As I recall, you have to have a verified Pay Pal account to get cash. They verified my account by moving a dollar or two into the out of the bank account I gave them. This was years ago, so it may have changed a bit.
I totally agree, NEVER put " Buyer is responsible for fees" as this is a seller fee and nothing is more lame then a seller putting that in thier sale (lots of them in here). Just make it part of your price sale without mentioning it.
Or, if you desired, you could always ask for a gift certificate to your favorite e-cig vendor as well

Don't mention e-cig in the transaction because paypal banns selling or buying e-cigs with their system. I am boycotting paypal until they change their policy! I know I will never use them unless I absolutely don't have an alternate choice.

you could also do an interac money transfer and set up a question and answer. easy and cheaper too i think.
the thing that sucks about paypal is that your first payment recieved rgets a hold put on it. i know this is how it works when you sell something on ebay for the first time anyway. with that they take off the hold if there's no bad feedback. but there's no way to do that on here so... hope you don't need the money right away don't remember the time frame before they start letting you just get money after the first sale
