So, juice Maniac's "FORMULA" is my ADV and has been for like 7 months since I found it. They have changed their labels a few times already, and no biggie. However, I bought a bottle yesterday and once again they changed their label ( black label now) and this time I noticed it looked clearer in color, and when I tasted it, it was a noticeably different flavor. I have not gotten any concrete answer that they did change it yet, but an employee at the vape shop brought my attention to the fact that one of their other flavors (Cosmos Nebula) did change, but they are now calling that Cosmos Nebula 2.0, and their website says it has changed. Why would they not mention it if they changed "Formula" also.
This is a stretch, but I'm hoping that maybe they released these first bottles with less pre-steeped time, and that's why the taste is different and the color is lighter.:nun: I can only hope. I'm pretty bummed about this :(. If they did change it, I think it's totally uncool to do that and not let your loyal customers know about it.:nah:

Hello and welcome to the forum Dhompe. Glad to have you here!:)

I know nothing about Juice Maniac's juice but juice suppliers do change their formulas especially if their previous juice contained diketones (diacetyl, Acetoin, and/or Acetyl Propionyl). In the past juice manufacturers were not testing their juice for these molecules.

If this is the case, then it's a good thing for vapers. Buttery, custard, creamy, rich, bakery type flavors CAN contain these "bad actors".

What are Diacetyl, Acetyl Propionyl and Acetoin?

Hopefully their original forumula did not contain any of these molecules and they just made a label change and the juice needs to be steeped.:)

Yeah, I am familiar with it. The thought had crossed my mind. The company is growing, which means more eyes on them, hence more testing possibilities. What I don't like to imagine is that some companies have built up their popularity with very unhealthy mixtures attracting customers because they taste so good, then changing all their mixes once they gain momentum. Better to change than not, but let's be real, if they know something isn't right now, they've known for a while. It's shady practices. IF, of course, that is the case.

AND the buzz about diketones has been around longer than this particular juice, so if that is the case, shame...
