Hello everyone. I am still new to the whole PV world, I started about 2 months ago. This is a link to my first post about what kind/model of PV that I currently have http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/144512-id-ing-non-branded-e-cigeratte.html . As you can see there was some debate on what 2 brands/styles I am currently using.

I travel a great deal for work (out of town Mon.-Fri. 50 weeks out of the year) and I am looking for a kit that will be the most convenient/productive for me. I was looking at the V2 Travelers Kit, but after looking for other suggestions I have found myself more confused than ever.

I would like a kit that allows me to use one of the 2 kits I already own(KR 808D-1 / E9 / KR 808D-2)(see thread link above) but it isn't something that I am dead set on. I would like the kit to have a USB pass-through and the ability to use a drip tip for when I am sitting in the hotel room. I work in hospitals so even vaping is kinda frowned upon but I do find a corner or two to take a quick vap break here and there :p.

Is the V2 Travelers Kit my best option for what I am looking for or is there a better option out there that I haven't seen yet?

There is a bit of a running joke on the forum that everyone is told to "get an eGo" no matter what the question is. Well, having read your question, my honest recommendation would be to get an eGo :p Specifically, one with a USB charging/passthrough feature (eGo USB). This deal at Cignot allows you to configure the kit how you want it. The upgrade to the USB battery is a very reasonable $2 per battery (see the dropdowns for the full selection).

The USB batteries, can be charged by USB and used at the same time (effectively a pass through). So you can charge them in the car using a 12v~USB adapter which could come in handy with the amount of travelling you do. They are of course higher capacity than KR8 battery's (280 mah on KR8 vs 650 mah on the eGo).

The eGo uses the 510 style connection that gives you the option of using Joye 510, Joye 306 or eGo Mega atomizers (all ideal for dripping with the use of a drip tip). Or you can use a wide selection of 510 cartomizers. You can of course use KR8 cartomizers on it as well, using a 510-808D-1 adapter such as this one for $1.

The V2 kit you mention looks like a KR808D-1 with bundled PCC (charging case) and USB pass through. It is to be frank, quite pricey and probably an unnecessary expense as by the sound of it, you already have a KR8 kit anyway. If you did want to stick with the KR8 you could just buy the PCC and pass through separately for much less. For example here is a KR8 pass through and PCC sold separately.

I do agree with the previous poster's responses and think that you can make those suggestions work for you. I've used just about every style of PV, including the KR808 and eGo. I spend a lot of time traveling due to my work as well. If you can't pull over to drip or fill a carto, you can get into trouble quickly.

The PV that I love on the road is my Reo. The battery lasts me about 16 hours and the 6mL juice bottle always has something in it at the end of my day. A spare, filled juice bottle, a single extra charged batt and an extra atty and I'm pretty sure I could make it for 3-4 days with no pitstop. (too bad my body isn't as hassle-free)

It's durable, very difficult to lose and easy to operate while driving. I don't need to look at it to add juice or to vape. Reo is expensive but definitely worth it for people on the move.

As far as stealthing goes, it doesn't look threatening but most people don't recognize it on sight. They often think it is some kind of communications device.
