Mistic E-Cig Question

Hello I just have a question. My father uses a halo battery and it has 808d1 threads on the top which he was using cig2o branded cartridges on. Well. recently he tried the mistic brand of cartridges and there is only one complaint and that is that the battery dies too fast, so did some research and found out that the mistic are 808d2 and thus wouldn't screw onto his batteries so I bought 2 808d1 to 808d2 adapters and they screw onto the battery no problem but when he tires to screw the cartridge onto it, it doesn't fit? I am at a loss here to figure out what is wrong cause I thought I had everything that was needed for this setup.

Just to help with this question, here is the website I bought the adapters from, so please tell me if I bought the wrong thing (and if so possibly point me in the right direction to buy what I need) 808d-1 Battery to 808d-2 Atty | Electronic cigarette starter kits and eliquids | Kommoncentz Vapor Cigarette Stores

Mistic was one of the first e-cig kits that I got. It's cheap, and it works...that's all I can say for it. The batteries do die pretty quickly, and they're auto batteries, so you can gunk them up pretty easily...especially if you try to refill the cartos.

I would honestly suggest getting him a solid 510 or eGo threaded device. That's the standard now, you'll be hard pressed to find any of the legacy fittings built into anything now-a-days, except for proprietary reasons, like the mistic. (Woo, run-on sentence, my english teacher would be proud)

Your adapters won't work because Mistic is not KR808D-2 threaded. Mistic's connection is actually KR808D-1, but it's not quite KR808D-1; the threads on the battery are bit longer than on a standard KR808D-1 battery, like the Halo, so a KR808D-1 carto will not screw onto the Mistic battery all the way down. It will still work, but there will be a slight gap where the battery and the carto come together. I know that you can use KR808D-1 cartos on Mistic batteries, but I'm not sure if you can use Mistic cartos on KR808D-1 batts. The Mistic carto may just be too long to make proper electrical contact with the center pin of a standard KR808D-1 battery.

You could try getting some spacers from MadVapes, but honestly, it's hardly worth it.

I agree with Xavier--get a nice 510 threaded kit (eGo-class battery, variable voltage, nice simple clearomizer, like Kanger) or just stay with Halo and their cartomizers--or any other KR808D-1 cartomizers, preferably blank so your dad can refill them himself. He'll get a better vape and save a lot of money in the process.

Give the Mistic kit to someone who wants to try vaping. :D

Good luck and Happy New Year.
