Been at this a few weeks and have decided that (so far at least) I much prefer clearomizers.
Any out there that knock your socks off?

I bought a Kanger Protank and so far have mixed feelings about it.

I am using a Volcano Inferno. ego style 510 thread but doesn't have the outside thread so I can't use anything that uses the outside thread.

Any input appreciated.

I just got an innokin iclear 30 dual coil. Reeeealy liking the dual coil!
Was also rather pleased with the rotatable drip tip. Didn't think I'd like it very much until I actually used it, it does make vaping more comfortable.
It does have a plastic tank, so you can't vape cinnamon.

I have a AGA-t+ which I love! The stainless wick parts a much cleaner taste and allows the subtle flavors to show through. But being a rebuildable you do have to tinker with it.

I'll put my choices in order. Best first.

Kanger Evod - nice, tiny bit airy, good but not outstanding flavour.
Vision Vivi Nova - best with a plinth to reduce air
Vision V3 - solid draw (almost no air)
Innokin iClear - good, but somehow a bit leaky in the tip - REALLY like this for fruit flavours.....
Kanger Protank - fabulous vapour producer, looks great on bigger batteries - too airy for me.

- - -

Kanger T3 - I had 4 or 5. I gave them all away to a newbie last week. Top vapour and flavour, excellent draw, just "Titanic" leaking issues.
Stardust CE4 - like the other CEs, just never managed to clean/renew them successfully.

So. Evod at 8-9 watts. (4.0v for me)

Just ordered the Protank myself, should be in the mail any day now, what dont you like bout it?

Have issue getting it to draw at all. Fiddle with it for a while and it works great, set it down for a while and 0 vapor. (operator error I'm sure, just not sure what the error is). Also end up with a leak off and on (definitely operator error). Only had it for a few days so I'm sure I'll figure out how to avoid these issues.

Also the sleeve that comes with it won't fit on device unless it has the ego style outside thread (mine doesn't). Not an issue per say, just irks me.

Probably psychosomatic but a bit of a metallic taste.

Your battery doesn't push enough voltage to get a good vape from a Kanger Pro tank. Unless you use the 1.8 ohm replacement heads or rebuild your own heads. 2.5 ohms with a 3.7 volt battery? Not enough power.

KPT is the best....Evod, Kanger T3, VISION vivi nova, Kanger T2.....mini vivi novas are kinda meh...
CE2, ce3, ce4, ce5 are terribad.

a Vision 1300 Mah Spinner is a better battery if you are on a budget. Exhale Vapor has them for $22

I was afraid that may be the case. Will the 1.8 heads be good or just good enough (if you know what I mean)? May be time to upgrade to a larger unit :2cool:

1.8 heads will work MUCH better for you.

Tank is leaking at the bottom for sure. Make sure the wick hole is nicely plugged up with enough wicks.

Here are my humble observations/reservations.

1. Vapeonly BCC - Awesome draw. Strong, w/ a bit of air, but not airy like the vivi. Good clean flavor, no tilting/swirling. Built very solid, nice drip tip.
2. Innokin iclear 30. I haven't purchased this yet, but the reviews I've read good reviews about the draw and the construction. I haven't read anything negative.
3. Vivi Nova - I tried them. Don't like them. The draw is very airy, and the wicking is poor. I rebuild my wick & coil setup, but the tilting/swirling starts to get real old real quick.

My attitude is that I purchase a variety of clearo tanks, rba's, etc because I like a variety of vape styles. I recommend doing research, then purchasing different tanks or whatever you like. You can always resell them, or trade them.

My daily, don't leave home without it vape is the vapeonly bcc. They do everything I like, just the way I like it.

Good luck on your search. I'm sure you will find what you like.
