I am using a Smoketip KR808D-1 with standard 3.6v 250Mah batts. Can anyone recommend a longer life battery that will work with my KR cartos. I just got V9 Turbo carts (still waiting on the juice), and I'll be staying with them for now. I saw the Cig easy Elegant manual 750Mah and wondered if something like that would be good. I want a batt with a decent cut off time that works with KR cartos. If I need to get a different charger, please tell me. Thanks for any help.

There are Elegant, Defender, Vgo and EasMall 901 Riva.

I was using 808D-1 for a while and was looking for same thing you are looking for now.

After all I decided to switch to 510 and couldn't be happier.

I sill have $150 stock of 808D-1 cartos, but don't use them anymore - just can't stand them after trying LR 510 cartos.

Really, 510 LR Cartos completely changed my vaping experience and, after 6 weeks struggles with 808D-1, I finally quit tobacco same day I received my 510 battery and cartos.

IMO, the best you can do, just get 510 Riva + [510 -> 808D-1] adapter. You will be able to use 808 cartos with this adapter, but after you try good LR (1.7 or 2.0) cartos - you will never go back.

I know 2 suppliers with good prices with free shipping for Riva:
strictlyejuice
electronic-ash

If you don't care about look, you can get 2xAA Box Mod with slow change LED - that's what I'm using.

The XL type 808 batteries are a next step, around 380 mAh, noticeably longer use between recharges. Vapor4life and others carry them. They're about 1" longer than the standard ones, same charger though you can't close a standard PCC lid if you put an XL in for recharge.

Elegant and a few others are in that 640 -750 mAh range.

NHaler and at least one other place carry the Greenworld/Greencig G400 -- that beastie is 900 mAH. Base kit with one battery, charger, 2 2ml (yes 2ml) capacity mega cartos runs about $60, I believe a second battery is about $35, and it also can use standard 808 cartos. (Don't forget to use saveinnj if you use nhaler); not cheap, but that's equivalent to more than 3 standard 808 batteries for each G400. I'm looking at buying one, just trying to get feedback on battery longevity after a couple months' use

I started with Kr808d. Got a lil Chuck that has an 808 connector and I use the 808 cartos. I also have Ego mega batts 900mah and use the 808 carts on a 501-910(808) adapter. I just ordered a wet box to use with 808 cartos also. I only use 808 cartos and probably have about 200 of them in assorted flavors and blanks that I fill with my own juice. I like 3.7 v vaping, 5 v and higher burns my gums and palate....the vapor is too hot for me.
