The 1.2 ohm coils didn't get the rave reviews the 1.5's did, but some folks love them.

No, it's this one. Is it a good choice?
These coils. Doh, well, at least this way he can compare the 1.5 ohm coil that it comes with and the 1.2 ohm replacements. He's really looking forward to it.

Perfect! That's the one that started it all. I still use mine in rotation with the GS Air M .
Nothing wrong with the 1.2 ohm cotton coils, just make sure you prime them well.
On the 1.5's, I put three drops in the opening in the top of the coil after screwing it into
the base, this gets the coils wet with e-liquid and ready to go.

And you are absolutely correct, he can try the 1.5, which is the yardstick we all measure
any coils after that to. The 1.5 ohm coils are a dual, horizontal coil where as the 1.2 ohm
coils are a single, vertical coil. Both offer a little different vape experience.
