The tc nickel coil is .15 ohm. I just ordered a couple of the lg hg2. I vape at about 400-450. This battery can handle that right?
If your using that coil, make sure you dont chain vape. And if your batteries start to get hot, remove them quickly and change the coil. Safety first. A .15 ohm coil will pull quite alot of amps from your batteries. Use an ohms law calculator if your really concerned about safety. All you need to put in is the coil resistance and the voltage being applied.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Personally for batteries I find that you can't go wrong with LG 18650's

I use LG HE4s for the kind of vaping the O.P. mentions. I have no idea of the exact difference between them and the HE2s but I don't think it will be make or break.
I've never seen my eVic Mini 'pull' more than 15 amps.

isn't that for if you're using a mech device? on a regulated device, don't you just put in the resistance and wattage?

Not quite. Wattage and the voltage your mod kicks the batteries out as discharged x number of batteries (series mod) will give you maximum amperage. (Wattage and the full charge battery volts gives minimum amps). The resistance is meaningless because the board varies voltage on the downstream side to make the required wattage whatever the coil may be; but the batteries never "see" this. They only see the board itself. Technically, for better accuracy, you should take the nominal figure of W/V and add something to represent the losses (I^2R losses) on the board itself, typically 5% or so. Our friend @Mooch has the technical skinny here: Calculating battery current draw for a regulated mod | E-Cigarette Forum

On the Pegasus mini in temperature control mode it only shows your ohms and temperature not watts. That coil is strictly for tc so I have no idea how many watts. The coils for wattage vaping are 1.2 kanthal and 1.8 Clapton (triton 2 mini tank)
The Pegasus Mini is a 50 watt maximum mod. That's what I based my calculations on.

Stay away from VTC4 the majority on the market are counterfeits.

I've heard they don't make them any more and the only way to get authentics is to disassemble Sony Note Book battery Packs. This could be true or not but for sure most VTC4 on market aren't authentic.

No truth to that at all.
They SED (Sony energy devices) shut down after the Fukushima disaster for several months creating a shortage.
When they restarted production it took quite some time for them to return to pre event production numbers.
SED does not approve of or support individual / consumer based retail sales further adding to all sorts of interwebz rumor.

Resistance is irrelevant when using a regulated mod (as long as your mod can fire it). To calculate amp drain (at min battery voltage) all you need to know is how high a wattage you plan on using and then follow this guide by @Mooch to determine the CDR your cells need to be capable of supplying.

Calculating Battery Current Draw for a Regulated Mod

Or you can just go to steam engine's "battery drain" page and put in the values. They even have battery presets.
