Hey all, I have an army of clearo type tanks with prebuilt coils, but have never tried anything in the rebuildable world. It's time. I'm wondering if there is a consensuses on the best RTA for a first timer?

I range from doing mouth-to-lung with a tight draw, to doing subing like a kanger .5 coil at 30W or so. Just to give an idea of what I'm used to. Though I am open to whatever. I'm thinking a single coil setup is all I would need though.

More than anything, I'd like something that's really simple to build on and use; doesn't leak etc. Probably an RTA for dummies to start. That new Avacado 24 is looking nice, but then I've thought about doing a kayfun for MTL...I'm just lost. Some advice from you all would be greatly appreciated.

Would recommend Kayfun lite plus or Taifun GT-II for Mouth to Lung vaping.

Monster V3 for Lung hits.

All of them are single coil attys and easy to build.

Somewhere out there
I just got Kayfun lites and I have not built anything yet, but be sure to google Coil Toy where someone just directed me, it helps figure out target resistance and gauge coil you use, how many wraps, etc. It is great! I just tried to figure out a standard resistance and here is what I got for info.

The goblin mini is pretty decent for M2L and sub ohm builds
I LOVE the Goblin Mini and Silverplay Nano RTAs to death. The best flavor of any RTAs i ever used.

While they are absolutely fantastic: they are NOT suitable as a person's first RTA.

I say that because the airflow is directly under the coil(s). If not Wicked properly they will leak like crazy.

My vote goes to Billow V2-V3
Great appearance, great build quality.

It has one problem. Serious lack of flavor compare to flavor chaser attys.

I used The Billow v2 Nano form 12.5-40 watts and could not get decent flavor out of it.

I think a Kanger Subtank Mini would be a Good Call.

Inexpensive.
Easy to Build the RBA Section.
Can run Pre-Made Coil Heads.
Lots of Help Info Available.
Everyone sells Spare Parts Like Glass, Seal, etc.
