I have been using sigelei 75w for a couple years. I really like these as they are durable and cheap. I actually have a few as a back up.

I recently got a billow V3plus tank and I have been going through batteries like crazy! Previously using billow V2 and 1 battery would last all day.

I'm looking for a dual 18650 mod. I don't care for TC as I just use power mode.

Can somebody recommend a new dual 18650 mod that is durable and under 100 dollars?

Tesla Steampunk nano. Very durable, all metal mod. It's heavy, but almost indestructible in my experience, I've leaked through mine, dropped it, etc. It's got an efficient power conversion board so IMO I find it an excellent 2 battery mod (using the right batteries, that would be key as if you are vaping higher wattage, it might not be ALL the mod, what type of battery you get will change the performance of what you have now, (although you still may want a dual mod for convenience).

To learn more about batteries go here: Mooch's Recommended Batteries | E-Cigarette Forum or here: Baditude's Blogs | E-Cigarette Forum Both offer a ton of information.

So the right batteries for your wattage range should help. I suppose I should mention the Tesla's battery door, some models were a bit wonky on the door but there are various fixes if you love the mod (you may equally hate it the style isn't for everyone).

I'd also recommend the eleaf Invoke, it also does TC (although perhaps a bit inaccurately, but since you aren't looking for TC, it shouldn't impact you much). Many mods offer TC and you certainly can just not use it, as almost all mods other than a few of the two battery mods seem to be offering it, but it's always nice to have that option down the line. It's tiny, lighter than some of my single battery mods and etc. It may well be worth a look, it's light without sacrificing design quality and durable, for sure (I've dropped mine few times but all was well).

Good luck and I am sure you'll get more suggestions, but hope any of the above is helpful.

Sigelei Vcigo K3 mod about $40, I'm the type that doesn't need or want all of the bells and whistles.

Certainly I'll chime in, as it was going to be my recommendation to you, too, heliguy.

It is an AMAZING device and the hit from it is so smooth, it's nearly unparalleled. Feel free to come join us to chat about it.

Watched a few reviews on the squid mod. It looks perfect for me. I really like the small form factor for dual 18650s.

The only thing I'm concerned about is if a tank leaks the liquid could get into the batteries
That’s true of almost every mod. The only mod I know of with a liquid sealed battery is the ageis which is a one battery mod

What kind of battery life are you getting with the squid. Currently using clapton 26/32, dual coil,3mm, .5 ohm at 75 watts. It's as high as my current mod goes to but I think 80 to 85 watts will be the sweet spot.
Just theory here but you should be able to go up to 90w(?) with 15amp batteries so you should be good regardless. Might want to get 20amp+ ones just to be safe though. If your current mod is one battery that would definitely explain your current miserable battery life. The boost bit of buck/boost works, kind of, but it makes for a not real good vape and is super hard on batteries
