Greetings,

I would first like to say that I am impressed with the wealth of information and the community available here in this forum. I have been perusing this forum for several months now and I find the members here knowledgeable and supportive.

I purchased my first e-cigarette, a Greensmoke kit, three months ago. I honestly think that e-cigarettes will save my life if the drinking doesn’t kill me first! I was attracted to GS because of it’s 2 piece design and, frankly, some youtube videos demonstrating it’s use. I do like the amount of vapor I can draw from the device. I had also purchased some Johnson’s Creek e-juice that I use to refill the carts.

Generally speaking, I am really newbie to e-cigarettes. I read the forums, but there are a lot of things I don’t understand with regards to the different battery types and models. I am here asking for any recommendations on another e-cigarette purchase. I like the GS, but I am sure there are better products available. I have read a lot of these forum postings, but as I said, I don’t understand that much! Would someone please recommend an e-cigarette? As I stated, I was attracted by the simplicity of the 2 piece design and the volume of vapor coming from a GS e-cigarette.

If this matter has been covered in another forum posting, please link me to that.

Thanks!

Sounds like you need a KR808 or 510. The KR808 is also two-piece (with cartomizers) while the 510 defaults to three-piece but you can also buy cartomizers for it. I'm not a cartomizer guy so I recommend the 510 for its versatility; I'd recommend a $55 eGo clone 510 kit from TastyVapor. KR808s have big batteries (not as big as the eGo though) and a longer track record with cartomizers. I think you can find KR808 to 510 adapters that would let you run the KR808 batteries with a 510 atomizer too. I like options buy I'm a dedicated direct dripper.

Welcome to the forum. Foremost I would suggest a manual device over an auto type PV. It gives the user total control and the battery compartment is protected from leaks. A good second choice would be a Joye 510 or an eGo. Another option is what so many of us have done and gone to a good mod that gives you 5-7 hours between battery charges, better throat hit and more consistency. I prefer 5 volt PV's but there are many good ones at different power levels. Here is a site that gives you information on many mod PV's:

Good Luck
