No, I'm not talking about recycling it for re-use! But I was curious as to what the condensed vapor contains?

Ok, let me back up a little bit... I recently got some Clearomizers - I really like them and all, but vapor/fluid collects in the mouthpiece/mini-driptip and "spits" out sometimes. So... in my infinite wisdom, I constructed a ghetto condensation catcher with a way of collecting the "spent" fluid.

I was kind of surprised at the results. I expected the fluid to be identical to the fluid vaped. But no, my darkish amber mocha-flavored fluid is a very light yellow when condensed. So, this mean most of what colors the fluid is either staying suspended in the air taken through the trap, or staying behind and clogging up the atty, or getting destroyed/changed somehow in the heating process... or any other ideas for the change in color? You can kind of see what I'm talking about in the attached pic (cruddy cam, sorry).

I haven't tried vaping it to see what it's like, BTW... I'm kind of afraid to :glare:

Oh, and just to be clear - I'm catching the excess condensation right after it exits the mouthpiece and BEFORE it is inhaled. The exhaled vapor is just blown out normally.

BTW, I vaped a little of the condensate in my dripper earlier and it's basically just unflavored juice now. Very little TH as well, so I'm assuming the nic content is as low as the flavoring. I'm still not sure what to make of this... it didn't start out as an experiment, but I figured someone else might find it interesting as well...
