Have you had considered possibly going green and accepting return on empty bottles?
I mean really could save quite a bit on cost, wash sanitize, refill and relabel.
I have about 3 dozen or so to get it started, I'll even wash and boil the out before sending them back to you.

I know there are some local B&Ms who do that - but, you can imagine the liability. We manufacture our liquid in a clean environment... once those bottles exit the clean-room - no way I am taking them back in the clean-room to refill them. I do encourage the recycling though - obviously the Earth deserves as much!~

We do use totally recyclable packaging material where possible - specifically with our wholesale packing materials. We're sending more and more via priority boxes (which are recyclable) - using fewer and fewer of the plastic purple packages.

Other suggestions to be more green would be very welcome - we just can't take the bottles back... that would be a very bad idea according to the FDA.

Make the pipettes either selectable at checkout or buyer requested at checkout.

I have a gang of them and don't use them. It's just waste.

I put in the comments "no pipette please!"
cuz I won't use them..

as for the bottles, I'm keeping one of each flavor as memorabilia.. the rest go into the recycling bin at the dump.

Going green starts with...

1.Reducing, Reduce first, many small packages produce more waste.
2.Re-use, using an item numerous times is not only cheaper but also reduces waste.
3. Recycle, if the first 2 options are not do-able this is the last best option as it requires energy to do it.

Think about what you're asking for, who is willing to absorb the shipping costs to "recycle" these bottles?
The mail trucks run on fuel? More packaging for mailing, labels etc.

Just to grind up a few plastic bottles, either save and use them to DIY once we can no longer purchase liquid on-line or just toss them in your recycle bin.(this assumes everyone has a recycle bin.):)

Just my 2 cents. Cheers.

I wish we had recycle bins here. When I lived in Oklahoma City they gave them out to everyone to put out on trash day. Too bad there were only a few of us that actually used them. I'll bet it was less than 5%. For 20 yrs I drove by the landfill on my way to work. It started out as a 100 ft deep ravine and now is probably 200+ ft tall. Such a shame that we live in a disposable society.

I reuse the plastic bottles, easier for me to work with. recycling is mandatory in our town, only $5 a year for the dump pass per vehicle! can drop off *anything* - people pick through for stuff and there's a trade shack.. love it!

I had that when I lived in Lincoln, it was awesome! I got a lot of stuff from the trade area and could sort my recycle in the appropriate dumpsters so it was actually easier for everyone as the glass was all sorted by color, newspaper was separate from cardboard etc. :D
