Recycling juice bottle

Nothing but lots of hot water and air dry for me, but I am pretty crass about the whole thing and just reuse bottles for similar juices as the previous contents. But I am also not an artisan seeking to perfect my recipes, just happy to make vapable stuff I do not mind. If I do eventually take it to that next level, I will probably take the cleaning aspect more seriously.

Great information. I scrubbed and renced them with soapy water to get the old labels off and they are now sitting in a baking soda bath over night. I have my first order coming in on Monday and the new bottle won't be in till the next week. I'm glad I am a container horder or I would of had nothing to use.

Make sure to give them a sniff test before using. Even a little bit of soap fragrance would totally suck. If they smell of soap at all, lots of hot water until they don't.

Oh yeah, bottle hoarding. If anyone asks, I am conducting an ultra top secret experiment that will save the world, provided I am left alone for a few more weeks.. Not all plastic squeeze bottles are the same either, so some are more prized than others. Of course glass is better, but I am not there yet. You got any bottles you don't want anymore? Will you mind if I pick through your trash? No, I haven't seen any spare bottles rolling around lately, why do you ask?
