I smoked for over 15 years before I managed to quit back in 2001, but after having quit for almost 10 years, I fell off the wagon and started sneaking cigarettes again. Early last year, the sneaking around and trying to hide the fact that I'd been smoking from my family, was just exhausting, so I decided to try vaping. I bought a simple ego twist and kanger protank, but still didn't find it as satisfying as cigarettes. Then, last summer, when I was having problems with the protank leaking, I went to a local vape store and discovered the Aspire Nautilus, which provided for a much better flavored, more satisfying vape. I followed up that purchase with an MVP 2.0. However, throughout 2014, I continued to sneak smokes here and there.
At the beginning of 2015, I resolved to really quit smoking cigarettes once and for all and to really try to replace the cigs with vaping. I started looking for more juices that I would like, and realized that what I really was looking for in my vaping experience was more flavor. I saw reviews of the Atlantis and the Subtank and how they produced really great flavors, so I did a bunch of research on subohming and the two tanks and decided to get one of each, along with an eleaf50. The burst of flavors they produced was eye-opening! However, I've discovered that not all juices are great for subohming, and sometimes it's a little too intense for me.
So I started researching what the best options were for flavor chasing and saw lots of positive reviews of the Magma. I was totally intimidated at the idea of building coils and messing with electricity at that level, but someone I spoke to at a local vape shop explained that building coils really wasn't as complicated as I thought, and that I should give it a try. I did some more research, watched a bunch of you tube videos on safety and building, and decided to give it a try. I've had an Infinite Magma clone for the last two weeks, and have been really enjoying it. I never thought I would be into dripping, but the intensity of flavors is so much better, and there's so much more flexibility in switching between different juices.
Now I find myself in the conundrum of having more vape gear than I really want or need. I have that MVP 2.0, a Nautilus tank, a Nautilus mini tank, an Atlantis, and a Subtank Mini. What do people do with their old gear? Is there a market for selling used gear?
BTW, I haven't had a cigarette yet in 2015!
