Hi all, I have been using my trusty Screwdriver Mk2 for over 3 months now and I have been cigarette free since I got it (1 PAD for 25 years). It's a great bit of kit and the battery life is fantastic (all day easily).

I have found answers to almost all of my questions on this forum, so many thanks to all who post and all who reply.

One thing I have not found an answer to is this:

When I have a glass or two of red wine and vape at the same time my tongue goes black. I don't mean red I mean really black. It stays that way for a couple of days. I have had to swith to white wine and still drink beer of course with no problems.

I think something in the juice is reacting with something in the wine (maybe tannin) are there any other red wine drinkers out there..... do you find the same thing happening to you?

The most anoying thing so far for me is the often reported loss of taste from favourite juice / all taste bad. I have had 4 or 5 episodes each lasting a couple of days.

All said I am still pleased I took the plunge, I have even started to save money now.

More info.
It happens with all the red wines that I drink and with different juices, liberty flights totally wicked to name but two. I use 24mg and I don't chain vape.

It looks gross and like i say I have switched to white, but miss my glass or two of red. If no one else experiences this I'll have to do it again and post a pic.

Thanks

sounds pretty strange , I never cared for wine and have been alcohol free now for 12 years so never experienced such a thing nor heard of this happening before. I'm curious now to find if this has happened to others or if any answers to this come about. I'll have to keep an eye on this thread.

Best of luck in finding the answer
