But that has no bearing on the OP's claim. There are reasonable people on reddit. Few, but they are there.
I think between the lines that comment is saying, "Look OP, maybe what's causing issues for you isn't what you think it could be."..

    Reddit is useful.

I couldn't sleep one night and was flipping through channels and came across some documentary about Kobe Bryant. This was shortly after his death.

So I got curious.. I Googled KB's death and got a lot of links to Reddit. A couple of these links, I'll just say... gave a lot of info, medical examiner sketches, autopsy reports, etc.

Btw, it wasn't a good bedtime read at all. That stuff was on my mind for a couple of days.

That was on HECK of a rabbit hole ya found there, Alice. ;)

To be fair, this forum here seems to be full of people who vape because they (want to) quit smoking cigarettes, and between the two, vaping is so much better.
But I can see that someone younger, who never smoked, but started vaping in high school because everybody else was vaping, can have a very different viewpoint. It can certainly be an addiction, and if you didn’t do it to quit something unhealthier, it’s just that - an addiction. So maybe these subs have mostly users who belong into the second category?

I have no doubts that all the reddit vaping subs have a fair amount of those under 18.

it can (still) be very useful, for example if you’re learning/studying something. I’ve been studying an Asian language (on my own), and even though Google Translate is very good, sometimes you need a native speaker to translate or understand something. And I always got good and useful answers so far…

They have a few Starlink threads I keep up with and a occasional political rant, I don't spend much time there.
