Yup. That trouble makin' Berube is back! But it is not to make trouble.

First of all, someone else on the forum told me that the FSUSA people think I'm a plant from another juice company. HAH! That's just we-taw-did... I've known about e-cigs for a month and have been vaping for about two weeks. And in case you hadn't noticed, ordering juice in my noob phase has proven to be rather difficult.

Second, I haven't read what else has gone on in that thread since I had had enough of the fanboys and snobbery. Ultimately, what I said before still stands. I think the site needs to be cleaned up for ease of use to the un-anointed and the people replying (or not replying) to customers should do so with concern as opposed to being patronizing.

But all that isn't why I have returned.

Here is why I have returned. The juice I ordered showed up today. They got it sent quick and USPS did their job properly. Thank you. Yes, the edit I had hoped for had not been made, but considering the last few days on this topic, I already wasn't expecting it to have been edited.

Upon opening the package, I discovered my four bottles and a 3ml sample of RY4. Again. Thank you. I've been wondering why every juice store in the world sells this... Guess I'll find out soon.

But the thing that actually made me come back to this part of the forum was the receipt. Handwritten on it was:

"Thanks 'Berube'! Happy Holidays!" Adrian - "Thank You!" Maria - and "Thank You! Enjoy :)" written by someone else who didn't leave a name. At the top were also two initials (FM and A) and check marks over each item to signify that two other people re-checked this order. Now keep in mind. At the time this had been sent, none of these people knew about the fracas in the emails and on the forum. Had they been in a postion to be aware, I would have thought it was ....-kissing, but it wasn't so.

In the end, while I have issues with the face of the company, the people working behind the scenes unknowingly rescued the possibility of making me become a repeat customer. It is obvious that they did their jobs well and did it with a huge smile. If nothing else, I would guess that the people that work for FSUSA adore their jobs. No doubt, I can give kudos to management for that.

I say give these folks a raise.

Anywho, I havent touched any of the flavors yet. I think I'm just gonna let em sit for a bit. I did smell them all tho. Ry4 smells chocolaty. Pizza smells like pizza, but more like 7-11 pizza as opposed to good pizza joint pizza. We'll see how I dig it. Not feelin' the vibe so far on smell. Irish Creme smells good! Can't wait to hit that one. Coconut... Smells like theater butter. That kinda bums me out cause I LOVE the smell of coconut. I hope it'll at least taste like coconut. And lastly... dun-dun-dun-duuuuuuuun... the one i had hoped to swap for regular chocolate (due to wanting to use it as a 100%vg mixer), the Cocoa Chaos. It smells like you are sticking your nose into a box of Count Chocula cereal. Funny thing is, when i opened the bottle to smell it, a little air bubble pushed out a teeny-tiny drop that wouldn't go back in the bottle. Like the size of maybe 1/5th of a regular drop. So I pulled out my Sidesho and dipped the bridge on the droplet. I had been vaping with Fireball candy for days with this atty. That one little cocoa droplet charged thru the cinnamon heat and slapped me in the face, destroying any hint of cinnamon. It took me three hours of dripping Fireball to get the Cocoa Chaos flavor out of the atty.

I'll get workin' on these and we'll see if there'll be another order coming from me. Stranger things have happened....

Glad you got everything and were satisfied with the service. Just try the flavors, and if they don't taste quite right now, then let them steep for a bit. I am usually too impatient for that, but sometimes you NEED to otherwise certain flavors will just taste like crap. Sorry for the "fanboyism and snobbery" but you are dealing with people who are very experienced with all this, and while I may not be one of them, I tend to agree with those who are. :) VAPE ON BROTHER!

See, I knew all along you were a good guy! Glad you're back and with a new attitude. Welcome. Let's forget all the other stuff, its behind us.

On the subject of bacon. Don't. Don't even try it. You may never vape again.

But the Cocoa Chaos is another story. A friend sent me some for my wife, she tried it but didn't seem real interested so I used it. At first I thought it was okay, but I kept going back to it and then back again and finally couldn't put it down. Great stuff and I'll order more.

Couple things to keep in mind, taste is subjective and you are going to be off on a new adventure on your juices. I see a lot of posts on here saying this or that juice is great and this juice is crap. The bottom line is ... no one really cares how one person feels about a particular juice and the feedback is pretty much worthless. I'm going to buy what I think I will like.

Earlier I said to not buy the bacon and to buy the Cocoa Chaos. But is anyone really gonna listen to me? I doubt it. Then there are so many variables. Was the juice aged/steeped? At what temp? In sunlight or dark? On and on. And someone must like the bacon or they wouldn't even sell it.

My little chunk of advice is to save the reviews for yourself. You decide what you will and won't buy again. (That's why at this stage its important you buy sample bottles until you decide what you like). Drop by here and chit chat and have fun.

And about that bacon (it came from another supplier), I used it for a scent on bait that I put out in the woods for my motion activated game camera. All that came in to check it out was buzzards.

Welcome back.

between here and there
I just wanted to mention that every order I have received has always had hand written thank-yous on the invoice. I have always consider this a real treat and look forward to see who has signed them. Makes you feel appreciated and part of the family..:)
Welcome back and I do hope you enjoy your choices.

Oh, I should add. If you are trying out some of the stranger tastes... Taco, Bacon, etc... I advise to stay away from Beer. Just drink beer. Don't vape it. If you do decide to vape it, you will come back and wish you had thanked me for the warning, but it will have been too late. :p

ooooh i wish i could drink beer... too old and broken inside for that these days... lol

I think that most people here do remember how edgy we can get when we first start vaping. I know that my anxiety level was way up there. I do not think that any of your comments were taken personally at all. I started vaping on the July 4th holiday weekend for some reason. Well I called to place my order for 3 ecig kits with another company unrelated to FSUSA on a Friday morning and was told that there was no way that my order would ship until Tuesday (day after holiday) I was so outraged and anxious about getting started that I went to the mall and bought 3 very overpriced kits! Very dumb move on my part since I really did sacrifice quality for the sake of a few days. It all worked out in the end since I was able to return the first 3 kits and order the quality kits. I look back on it now and have to wonder, what the heck was I thinking? Quitting smoking can really run our anxiety levels up the scale and I think that most people realize that. I hope that you enjoy the flavors that you chose and wish you luck :)

BTW- Every invoice has always been signed personally from day one on every order. Even when it was just David and Pam and their 7 children running the show it was signed by all of them. :)

Pamela and I always personaly signed every invoice in teh early days, and as our kids joined us they signed too. Now days Pamela and I are busy running the company. The kids still help alot. some invoices get tons of sigs and some only get a few depending on who all is around and working on orders at the time.
Pamela and I are the face of this company. Every single person we have hired I have personally trained them in their jobs. I cross train them and give folks opportunities for advancement where due.
Our days are long, we get alot of fan mail and fan phone calls which we do appreciate.
All we ever ask of folks is to give us a break and let us do our job when it comes to errors, issues, slow mail or whatever.
This is a cut throat business. It always will be. We work hard to please our customers but we are human just like everyone else.
No one likes to be treated like dog crap just because "the customer is always right". Wish we could be that way, I try hard every day hoping when I die I go upward and not downward :)

Glad to see you back Berube. Yeah we are all pretty much "fanboys" of FSUSA. As your juices steep and you realize the outstanding products they make for us you might just become one too. Quality people and quality products tend to do that to you. I hope you enjoy your liquids and you will have to tell me about the pizza once it has steeped. I am quite curious.
