I don't know if this was asked somewhere else... but do you think the long steep time is due (if not even partially) to the fact that it's 100% vg? I do DIY and from experienced 100% VG'rs, they have stated that some of their mixes require at least a week's steep before the flavor is even detectable. I was sent some 50/50 blend and am just hoping I don't have to wait months to vape my flavors. lol

Buttercream Mint was one of the first I ever ordered. The smell alone is divine. Hopefully, you and your brother will like what the other doesn't. :D Enjoy!

hey loup, i had the buttercream mint and I have to say tat Pillow Dreams, stood out way more..
boy would I love some Pillow dreams right now,
VV vanilla peach also stood out but not as much.. it's the peach that leaves certain people to like peach flavor, but as far as freshness and distinctiveness, it's amazing!

KCM of course .. I can taste the milkshake chocolatey warmness all the way over here and it's delicious
cotton candy spider web, comes in at a close second in the race of mouth orgasms.
and Wintergreen, Oohh wow, it's one of the flavors that keeps you begging, hey mama do you have any wintergreen ?
but of course, Pillow Dreams gets the bang for the buck for a couple of wild cowboys over here huhh huh

Hmmm so I received my 2nd order and trying to let them steep! Are the small samples ready to go right off or do they need to steep also? (The 3 for 12 sample size)
I am making my way through these and love the Plum Crazy!! I tried the KCM but am thinking it may need to steep? The first hit always tastes delish! but then I get a burned/non flavor taste (tried with 2 different atomizer-one brand new). I am thinking steep time is needed? And yes the smell of the buttercream mint is devine! That will be my next one to try.

hey r1n13 , yes I think the reason why vg juices take longer to be steeped (a minimum of 1 week at least) is because vg is thicker, and it doesn't absorb as quickly as pg.
I have noticed this because I tend to drop liquids on my hand and I feel the 100% vg juices take longer to dissolve in my skin than a 50pg mix and higher
Angiebubs, yeah I definitely steeped my KCM for about 3 weeks at least before I dropped it in a 510 dripper

Rin13....I think some flavours require more steeping than others regardless of whether they are 100 or 50/50. I vape both and yes...the Konas all need longer steep times for my liking. Others are great right out of the mailbox. If it's good to you, vape away. If not so much, put it away and try again in a while. :)

Heinz...now there you go. Pillow Dreams is not one of my favs. I really tried to love it but it's too sweet for my tastes. Thank goodness Annette has created such a variety of delicious juices to make all of us happy. :vapor:

Angiebubs....the samples are pre-steeped and should be good to go. If you're getting a burnt taste it might be that you need to lower the voltage eg a juice that tastes good at 3.2-3.4 might taste burnt at 4.2-4.4 on some devices. Good luck...:)

Thanks for jumping in for me, LouP!

VG does often need more steeping because it's not as good a flavor carrier as PG but it's individual to the flavors and to your tastes. The samples are generally pre-steeped but always check the batch number (which is the same as the batch date) to see how long any bottle has had to age. A burnt taste is definitely a hardware issue and probably not related to steeping times. Try dialing down your voltage or ohms or, if the e-liquid is not keeping up with your vaping style, you may want to add a couple drops of distilled water to thin the e-liquid. When it's thinner, it will flow more quickly and may work for your style and specific device.

OK it was definately what I was using. I was trying it on my old ego with a drip atomizer. I just tried it on my vamo and a iClear and what a difference!!!
Also, I tried my bed of roses (which I ADORE) on my drip atomizer and I have to say if that is the only way I had tried it I would have had a totally different opinion of this!!!

Just wanted to bump this up for our newer VVers. RedHen did a fantastic job of reviewing many of our flavors, and it's really worth the read...she is a great writer! I believe she accomplished her goal of putting down the analogs, and finally putting down the e-cig as well! If you're out there RedHen, your presence here is missed, thank you for your contribution to our forum. Be well!
