So I use an MVP ver 1.5 and I recently got an Evod to try out and I've noticed that when I screw it all the way down I get hardly any airflow. The Evod was fine on an ego battery, I also put on a 510 to ego adapter on my mvp then put the Evod on and it worked fine as well. So has anyone else had this problem?

I have 4 evods, and I don't screw them all the way down on my ego's or SVD. I screw them down just enough to make contact with the pin. I do have one evod that needs to be screwed on more than the others, but I don't know why. I'm very careful with that one and it has no writing on the base. Not sure if it's a knock off or what. The first evod I bought from one store has the kanger evod writing on the base, the 3 others I bought from another store don't have any writing on the base. Also, check the coil to see if it's clogged up or anything. Be carefull when putting a pipe cleaner down them or q-tips.

Nah it's nor clogged up for anything, it's a brand new coil, and mine has the Kangertech on the bottom. I don't screw mine all the way down on my MVP but even with that the airflow is still pretty horrible, idk why. May just be mine specifically lol :?:

I've found this as well. One of my evod bases, the air holes are inside the threading and I get almost zero airflow on the MVP2. I'll be drilling some new holes eventually. On my other, the holes are above the threading, but still get a REALLY tight draw compared to putting it on an ego. I think it's just the way the ego connection is designed on the MVP.

Yeah your probably right, now that I take a look at the air holes I can see what your saying. It's a shame though, I have a black evod and MVP and they look so flawless together :(

I drilled out 2 holes on my Evod heads with a 1/16" drill it, and it made it much better. Before I drilled it, I was sucking so hard it was causing it to leak. It all depends on where the threads end up on the MVP threads. Once drilled, I can see the top of the MVP connection, about halfway through the hole. The draw is much improved, and no more leaks.
