Refilling carto with Automatic battery?

It's not too hard to refill the cartomizers, I promise! I always tap the battery end on a paper towel after I finish filling and blow out the battery end (after I put the mouthpiece back on) to make sure no excess juice gets through. I never fill through the battery end or use the condom method- I'm still kind of paranoid about that.

Do you have soft-cap cartos? I recommend filling as intended, with soft-cap off and into the stuffing. Then you can see the inside of the carto. Take the carto off the battery when adding juice. I hold a piece of tissue on the threaded end. Angle it and drip juice into the stuffing. When done, clean up any leaking on the threaded end. Then tilt the open carto end down into the tissue and puff into the threaded end to clean the air channel of any juice. You should be able to see light through that channel if it's a defined center channel. Now use a folded tip of tissue and clean up any juice pooled above the stuffing. Then if it's a new blank carto you filled I lay it on different sides to make sure all stuffing gets damp. Double check the threaded end is clean and dry and not dripping. Then use.

Also, try not to store your ecig carto-up. Lay it down flat or if you stick it in a pocket do it carto-down.

And you could buy a spare battery just in case (I recommend a manual - you can also drip on a manual with an atty).

Thanks guys. I'm a little less nervous now.

I purchased two spare batteries from AZSmokeFree, two D2 to D1 adapters from Le Cig, two sample packs and one blank pack of cartomizers from Vapor 4 Life and two sample bottles of e-juice from Vapor Bomb.

PHEW! That was a lot of ordering.

But since I'm new, I think this will give me a good start on which vendors are good and which products I like.

I'll let you know how it turns out!

Nice! Good choices. VaporBomb has lots of fans and does Vapor4Life. LiteCigUSA, nHaler, and other multibrand vendors are good places to get blank KR808D-1 cartos too. Just make sure you get standard resistance soft-caps (LR low resistance ones are for stronger fatter battery models like PigCig). And there are reservoir type cartos too that need a syringe to fill (CE2, Clearomizer, Fluxomizer) - I think stay away from the clear ones with auto batteries - some people have had them crack or even had the bottom fall out and dump the entire content of juice. Those are work-in-progress.
