Tips on needle method to protect battery needed!!

Hi again,

I'm going to start filling my own carts tomorrow. I plan on using the needle method with the little condom plug and filling like 6/night and letting them sit overnight. Will this be enough to ensure I don't ruin my 808d auto batteries? Any tips?

Are you talking about filling Cartridges(Carts) or Cartomizers(Cartos)?

If you are referring to cartomizers---you won't ruin your automatic batteries if you make sure the battery end of the carto is wiped clean and the hole in the carto blown clear of juice before you attach it to the battery. You should take these 2 precautions every time you attach the carto.

You can fill a Cartomizer(Carto) anyway you want and not worry about leaking or hurting your battery if you do one Simple thing.

That is after the Carto is filled and has sat for about 5 minutes, you really don't need to wait overnight if you don't want to, cover the battery end with a paper towel and then blow thru the other end. Keep doing this until no e-liquid comes out. Now your ready to go.

Or if you filling a bunch of cartos, your ready to put the condoms on Both ends for storage.

Not exactly sure what the neddle methoth is. For me, the easiest way was to pop the mouth piece off and then to hold the cart at a 45 degree angle and to drip e-liquid in on one side of the carto.

When you see that the entire carto has become saturated, put the mouth piece back on and let the carto sit on it's side for 5 minutes. Then do the paper towel blow.

One other thing I would do to an Auto, or manual battery for that matter, is to clean the thread with a Q-Tip ever time you change cartos or charge the battery.

If you smash the tip of the Q-Tip flat it works better to get down into the battery connector between the threads and the center pole.

So will gravity draw out more liquid overnight if the carto is sitting up? Or after I blow out the liquid will I be gtg no matter how long they sit or in what position?
