Refilling Cartridges

In general, how often could I refill a cart before I should toss it? I'm not too worried about the filler since I'll be using a PTB mod, and could refresh it often.

Are there tell tale signs that would signal the cart needs to be tossed? Maybe some type of build-up or the like.

When I used carts I would only toss them if they broke or if they started getting really loose on the atomizer. I don't really see any other reason to toss them.

From what I know cartridges can last quite awhile. Ive been told even months depending on how well you take care of them.

I think JL is right, if you're replacing the filler the cart will last a long time. If it doesn't crack or get warped for some reason you shouldn't need to replace it. I bought a lot of extras that I really don't need, I started putting different flavors I'm trying in them.
